Here's a sad one from Hans Christian Andersen (because sad is what he does best). A kid dies and goes around picking flowers with an angel on his way to Heaven. The angel picks up a dead flower to bring with them because he used to like that flower back when he was alive. So this angel is actually more of a ghost, apparently.
