A girl gets carried off by a tornado, but instead of dying, she gets plopped down into a magical land ruled by a fakey wizard who tricks her into killing a witch. After that's done, they tell her that she was wearing magic shoes the whole time and could have gone home anytime she wanted. That would have been useful information to have up front!
