"Well," Rose said as she awaits Carlos' answer if he knew the subject of the poem.
"I know the subject of this poem," Carlos said like a jealous man. "I cannot believe that Emma love him this much. This man is so lucky. When you think of it, he's perfect. My God!"
"Well," Eloisa said to press the information from Carlos. "Who is it? When you say the name of that person, you have already helped so much for Emma. She's asking us to find this man. Honestly, why doesn't she make a way to tell us?"
"She doesn't want everyone to know about their relationship," Carlos said to answer Eloisa's outburst. "Their lives will be ruined if their relationship becomes public."
"What do you mean," Rose asked. "Please, just say it, so that we can finally end this search."
"I... I do not want to," Carlos answered as he tried to hold back his tears. He caused a lot of pain to me. He's the real reason why we broke up. She loved him more. I'm leaving. Good luck finding him. The answer will always be right in front of your faces."
He stood up and left without another word. When he finally went out of the coffee shop, the girls saw him through the glass windows crying as he walked home.
"Dang it," Eloisa said crossly. "He could have told us!"
"Right," Rose agreed. "I did notice that he said something familiar."
"What is it," Eloisa asked.
"He said, 'the answer will always be right in front of our faces,'" Rose suggested. "That's also the same thing Emma said about this. Don't you think we already know who this is?"
"I don't know," Eloisa said.
Breaking news is being broadcasted to the television of the coffee shop. The owner turned up the volume so he could hear the news being broadcasted.
"Breaking news: The son of the owner of the dela Rama Corporations named Jonathan Rex dela Rama is found murdered at St. Patrick's Medical Center," said the reporter. "He is found stabbed by a knife and it happened in the middle of the night. The alleged suspect is Mateo Jonathan Macedo. He is currently being held a prisoner at Santa Lucia City Jail. The police are still conducting investigations what are Macedo's motives for killing his ex-girlfriend's fiancé."
"Oh my God," Eloisa reacted as she heard the news. "Is this serious?"
"Let's go," Rose said as she stood up instantly from her seat. "Let's go to the jail and ask him what happened."
They commuted their way to the said jail. They got there in less than thirty minutes. When they got there, they requested to visit Mateo. The police approved their wish to see him, and thus Mateo talked to them at the visiting area.
"Mateo, what happened," Eloisa asked. "Did you really kill him?"
"No, obviously," Mateo exclaimed. "I was at Blue Mountains Mall last night with my mother. The police did not believe a thing I said because they said they have an eye-witness that saw me."
"Who's the witness," Rose asked.
"I don't know," Mateo answered. "It must not be said until the date of the trial."
"Trial," Rose exclaimed in surprise about the situation. "Woah! We need to find proof that you did not do the crime. Right now, can we bail you out?"
"No," Mateo answered. "Murder with evidence is a non-bail able offense. Sorry."
"Don't worry," Eloisa assured. "We shall go to Blue Mountains Mall to see the security footage and show the proof that you are there last night when the crime was committed."
