"Jane, we beg of you," Rose pleaded. "Please make your testimony. You'll help a lot if you do this. The trial is in one week at the Municipal Trial Court. It will take place in the morning."

Jane did not speak another word. She's tired of speaking her denial again and again like a broken record.

"If you cannot do this for the good of all, then at least do it for your children," Eloisa said.

"We shall be leaving," Rose said as she and Eloisa stood up from their seats. They were just about to leave not expecting another word from Jane. Suddenly, she spoke.

"I'll think about it," Jane said sincerely. The girls nodded at what she said. When the girls finally got out of the poorly constructed home, they spoke freely of what they need to say.

"We'll she make a testimony," Rose asked.

"I don't know," Eloisa said. "We need to wait. In a way, our future depends of her. If the charge that we shall file will be dismissed, we shall be imprisoned. I'm scared about this, Rowe. They are some people like Professor Diwa, that is suspicious, and my father, that will get mad at me, that believe in us. We have to fight for our innocence and our freedom."

"We can do it," Rose exclaimed in determination. "Now, let's rest. We can't do anything about the search until our names are cleared."

Eloisa and Rose went on their way home. Jane heard the girls' conversation. She initially decided not to make a testimony, yet she pitied the girls. Their future depends on her, whether she make a testimony or not.

A week later, the trial day has come. It is the day where Eloisa and Rose shall defend themselves for the crime they did not commit and to show that Chloe is the real culprit that killed Rex, and the couple Romy and April. Eloisa and Rose are at the court with their lawyer Joseph, also known as Eloisa's father. Professor Diwa is there to witness the trial. He wanted to know whether the death of his friend shall be given the justice it deserves. Eloisa and Rose are getting worried because Jane still hasn't arrived.

"Rose, Jane is not here," Eloisa said with worry. "What now? What will become of us?"

"We can't quit now," Rose said with determination. "We still have the footage. That should be enough, I hope. We have to use the resources that we have now. We can't do anything if she won't come."

The judge sat at his seat signifying that the trial shall now begin.

"The trial shall be presided by the Honorable Judge Serrano," one of the jury said.

"We shall now proceed with the trial," Judge Serrano said.

Suddenly, Jane came crashing through the door of the court house. Everyone gave her a death glare. She then found a seat. When she finally had her seat, the eyes of the audience began to turn again to the judge again.

"As I was saying, we shall now proceed with the trial," Judge Serrano said. "Now, we shall proceed with the trial. A week ago, Eloisa Acosta and Rosanna Aguinaldo was arrested for murders of Romy Felizar and April Masinag-Felizar. Let's hear the prosecution. So they seem to have a witness named Chloe Concepcion-Doneio. Mrs. Doneio called the police about the screams she heard near the Felizar Household. When the police got to the said household, the police arrested Eloisa Acosta and Rosanna Aguinaldo for the said murders. Mrs. Doneio, please proceed to the stand to give your statement about the crime."

"Well, your honor," Chloe began. "I was just passing by the household when I heard the screams of Mr. and Mrs. Felizar. I was scared that the murderers might see me. That's why I immediately called the police. Luckily, the police got there in time to arrest the murderers."
