Chapter 19

Professor Diwa found it too hard to answer the question. One way or another, the girls will soon have their hands on the answer. If he answers the question now, it will end smoothly for the girls. If he does not, it would be easy to just grab a random student and ask.

"I'll repeat the question," Rose said bluntly "What is your full name?"

Then suddenly another professor named Professor Lopesillo came crashing through the door. It looks like he shall announce something.

"Sir, we have a meeting," Professor Lopesillo said as if he's in a hurry. "The President of the University calls for us."

"I'll be there, sir," Professor Diwa said. "Girls, I have to go."

Professor Diwa and Professor Lopesillo went on their way out of the office. Rose and Eloisa are visibly frustrated at the situation.

"What the..." Eloisa said in frustration. "Seriously? Argh!"

"I know," Rose exclaimed. "I know. We were almost there. My, oh my, oh my, oh my...."

"This is so..." Eloisa said. "Argh!"

Wait," Rose wondered. "Don't you think Professor Lopesillo just helped Professor Diwa escaped our interrogation. Don't you think that there is no Professors' meeting today?"

"I don't think so, Rose," Eloisa disagreed. "Maybe it was an emergency meeting. Our professors sometimes have that."

"Well, he might have denied talking with us in the first place, if that's the case," Rose said.

"Hmmmm..." Eloisa wondered. "You might be right."

"Come on," Rose said as she stood up from her seat. "Let's go follow them."

While Eloisa and Rose were conversing, the two professors have a conversation of their own as well.

"Sir, do we really have a meeting," Professor Diwa asked.

"Well, what do you think," Professor Lopesillo said. "The schedule of our meeting with the president is in two weeks. I just said that to your students to save you from their interrogation."

"I really don't know what to do," Professor Diwa said in hopelessness. "I thought I would get away with it, but I didn't. I guess what the bible says is true. No secret shall remain a secret. For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light."

"Look, I shall be informal," Professor Lopesillo began. "Let's have a talk as friends, not as colleagues of this institution. What were you thinking? I know love has no boundaries, and I know that love is blind, and I also know that age doesn't matter when it comes to love, but can't you wait until such time that she graduated? This could get you on a hook if this spreads, and judging from what happened today, it is starting since two of your students are starting to suspect already."

"I know," Professor Diwa said. "It's not her fault anyway. I'm the one who insisted. I'm the one who made the first move. I didn't know that she was going to be my student. I really didn't know."

"Falling in love with your friend's adoptive sister is not unethical, but it is wrong for your friend," Professor Lopesillo said "However, falling in love with your best friend's adoptive sister who happens to be your student without realizing might be unacceptable for some, and tolerable for some. Well, this already happen. We can't do anything about it now."

Eloisa and Rose went out of the office and saw the two professors having a conversation. The two professor walked and the girls followed them.

"They're following us," Professor Lopesillo said while walking. "Act casually. Walk as if you nothing ever happened."

Professor Diwa nodded and followed Professor Lopesillo's lead. The professors walked fast to shake Eloisa and Rose away from them. Since Ferrydell University is a huge place, one might get lost around there.

"Argh," Eloisa said in frustration. "They walk too fast. And, they're just walking. How can they walk so fast?"

"I agree," Rose said.

The professors noticed that the girls are too slow to follow them now. To top it all up, they went to the men's bathroom for the professors. When they finally got there, the girls gave up.

"My gosh," Eloisa exclaimed. "We lost them. I did not catch up to them. They're so fast at walking!"

"Don't worry," Rose said. "We can seek confirmation from others, even though it's completely obvious. Let's go. Let him be."

The girls know that they went to the bathroom. They just do not want to so far to break the boundary between men and women when it comes to bathrooms. When they heard that the girls finally left, they sighed in relief. Professor Lopesillo held Professor Diwa on his shoulders and said what he had to say.

"You are not going to keep this a secret anymore," Professor Lopesillo exclaimed. "If you are man enough to face this, you are not going to avoid anything that will reveal this secret! Let them find out the truth. I've had them as my students and they were fine. I can tell that they will not publicly tell this, and it seems that they're goals are objective. They're trying to get some information maybe for something important. Just because they're searching for information doesn't mean they're trying to expose you for what a pedophile you are."

"Sir, pedophile," Professor Diwa said. "I wouldn't count myself as a pedophile because I fell in love with a girl above the legal age limit; she's not a minor anymore and so am I." Sabi ni Sir Diwa.

"Oh right," Professor Lopesillo remembered. "I was thinking of something else. Anyways, if they ask again for a talk, I'm not going to save your butt anymore! You are going to reveal the information they need once and for all. I can tell that they're doing this for a reason. They wouldn't do all these risks for no reason at all. Do you understand, Sir Diwa? Their search will end with you. You are the root and fruit of this. Don't make them go through all these struggles. Please, Sir. Just end this!"

"Maybe some reality is best revealed at the right time," Professor Diwa thought out loud.

"Now is the right time," Professor Lopesillo exclaimed. "What more can you ask? They already know! They're just verifying existing knowledge. They already have an application for this knowledge, and I can tell it's really important. Please, just tell them everything when they ask for the information once more."

"I understand Sir," Professor Diwa said. I just hope that my career, and her life won't be messed up after I reveal this."

It may be hard for Professor Diwa to admit the truth, but he has finally decided to tell the truth to end the search once and for all. The girls will finally accomplish the mission that is only due for a month.
