At the end of his thinking time, Professor Diwa finally gave an answer to the lawyer's question.

"I was at the bar because I was having a drink myself," the young professor said. "I'm sorry if that was a bit frank, but it is the reality."

"It's alright, professor," Joseph said. "Now, did you saw Chloe Concepcion-Doneio with my clients that night?"

"Yes," Professor Diwa said. "I have something to say about this. I was at the bar that night. Then I saw Chloe. She was talking to one of the waiters to slip the drugs to the drinks of your clients. Eloisa and Rose were not with Chloe, when Chloe told the waiter to the act. After that, she left the bar. Then she returned with Eloisa and Rose. And that's when they were drugged."

"Thank you for your statement, professor," Joseph said.

As Professor Diwa walk to his seat from the stand, he cannot help but feel sorry for his old friend, yet a part of him says that she's a murderer.

"Now, let's hear what the defense will say," Judge Serrano said.

"Ummm... We have nothing to say in defense," Chloe's lawyer said.

"What," Chloe reacted furiously. "I don't believe you! Are you serious? You are going to screw me up here you little coward!"

"Order in court," Judge Serrano said as he banged the gavel.

"Sorry," Chloe said

"Are you sure that you have nothing to say in defense, Mrs. Doneio," Judge Serrano asked.

"Yes, "Chloe answered. "I'm sure. My idiot lawyer has nothing to say for me in defense, and so do I."

The jury took their time to decide on the verdict, with much deliberation, they finally gave their verdict.

"Alright, we, the jury, have decided on the verdict," One of the jury said. "I hereby declare Chloe Concepcion-Doneio guilty and sentence to life in prison."

The police handcuffed Chloe and guided her towards a police van. They are taking her to the prison she is sentenced to stay. Eloisa and Rose are extremely glad that justice has finally been served. It was such a joyful occasion for them, but a disappointing occasion for Chloe's parents.

"Thank you Lord," Eloisa exclaimed. "Justice has been served."

"You're right, my daughter," Joseph agreed.

"So, what do we do now, Rose," Eloisa asked. "Shall we continue the search?"

"Nah," Rose decided. "Let's visit the criminal at jail first. I have a few words to say to her. I want to give her a piece of my mind."

"I agree," Eloisa exclaimed.

"It's your choice what you'll do the whole day," Joseph said. "I have to go home. Congratulations for the victory of your case, my dears."

"Thank you, father," Eloisa said.

Later, Eloisa and Rose visited Chloe at Santa Lucia City Jail. Chloe's parents then arrived at the same time as Eloisa and Rose came.

"You have some visitors," the policeman said to Chloe.

"Who is it," Chloe asked. "Is it my parents?"

"Could be," the policeman answered.

When Chloe got out of her cell, she was surprised to see that Eloisa and Rose also visited with her parents. They sat at one of the seats at the visiting area.

"Before we ask for the whole story, I have one thing to say to you," Raphael exclaimed furiously. "You are a disgrace!"

"Calm down," Lerine said trying to calm her husband down. She's afraid that he might get a heart attack.
