"Uh.." Eloisa said as she tried to change the topic. "Hahaha... Where would you get such idea... hehehe...."
"Yeah no kidding..." Rose said as she joined Eloisa in her words.
"Girls, don't play dumb with me," Professor Diwa said as he is unamused with the girls. "I am your professor after all."
"Alright, sir," Eloisa said. "I'll tell you everything with full honesty."
"And," Professor Diwa said.
"We don't know," Eloisa said plainly.
"Oh come on," Professor Diwa said in frustration. "One way or another, I'll get the truth out of you."
"I would like to remind you that we are better at keeping secrets than you will ever be in your entire lifetime," Rose crossed.
"Just tell me the truth girls," Professor Diwa said. "Would Emma like you to lie to me?"
"I suppose not," Rose said as she is struck by guilt.
"I know she wouldn't," Professor Diwa said. "Now, please, just tell me the truth."
"Alright fine," Rose said. "We are going to tell the truth."
"Yes, both circumstances are indeed interrelated with one another," Eloisa said. Emma has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. The final days are upon us now."
Suddenly, tears started to roll out of the young professor's eyes. The rain started to pour hard outside of the coffee shop and it only made the atmosphere cooler than it ever is. He could not bear to speak for he is struck with sadness that moment.
"The true purpose of this search over the past few weeks is to find the man she loves so she can see him one last time," Rose said gravely. "She pleaded for that. The poem is indeed dedicated for you."
"Why didn't you tell me about this sooner," Professor Diwa asked.
"At first, I thought you wouldn't care," Rose explained. "Second, we don't want you to be affected. Third, we didn't know that you were the one that we were looking for the whole time."
"You have to see her," Eloisa said. "This is her final wish."
The girls left the coffee shop to give him the space that he deserves. They went on their way home to study for their final exams. The young professor then followed the girls advice went to the hospital. It was a hectic way there. The rain is pouring hard. A typhoon must be brewing up. When he got there, he searched for her hospital room. His moment is perfectly awesome (not). Emma's father, Raphael, was outside Emma's hospital room, and he's extremely displeased to see him.
"You," Raphael said furiously. "How did you know? Didn't I tell you that you shall never hear about my daughter again? Didn't I tell you to stay away from her?"
"Please," Professor Diwa pleaded. "I want to talk to your daughter one last time."
"No," Raphael refused furiously. "You may not talk to her! Just get lost! Stay away from here! Don't you ever dare return here!"
Still the young professor insists on seeing her for one last time. Clearly, Raphael is furious and displeased with the situation.
"Can't you hear me," Raphael asked furiously. "Are you stupid? Ferrydell University must be losing its quality by letting an incompetent professor teach his students! Can't you understand the sentence 'just get lost'?"
Suddenly, Lerine showed up to interfere with Raphael's insults. Clearly, Raphael is being disrespectful.
"Raphael," Lerine said furiously. "That is enough!"
