Chapter 42
*** SADIE'S POINT OF VIEW. ***
It was the day after Christmas. I was standing in my room at my dad's house. It smelt like fresh paint and new furniture. I loved my room at my dad's house, probably because I got to decorate it the way I wanted. I have all of my band posters on the wall, I got to pick out all the paint and the furniture. I think I might stay here more often, I really like my dad's house. It's really nice here, it's peaceful, and the neighbors are really nice.
Anyways, yesterday for Christmas I only got one thing from my dad, but it is seriously the best present I've ever received. My dad bought me a Nikon D800 camera, you have no idea how long I have waited to get this camera. The camera itself is pretty expensive, around three thousand dollars. But I absolutely love it and it has such a high video and camera quality...I will take care of it like it's my own child. I got a whole bunch of money and clothes from my mom.
So, back to what I was doing. I was standing in my room, I was getting ready to go to Rhonda's house. I was staying at her house tonight and then tomorrow I would be riding with her when we go and visit family. My dad has to work tomorrow and he won't be at my grandparent's house until later that night. I was putting my clothes on, I picked out Harry's Ramones Shirt that he gave me, a pair of grey skinny jeans, and a pair of white converse. I left my hair natural and my makeup was very light.
I finished packing my bag and I walked over to my closet. I opened the door and walked in, I walked over to the back wall and reached up to a shelf. I grabbed all of Harry's Christmas presents and took them out to my car. Once all of Harry's presents were in my car, I walked back inside, grabbed my bag, said goodbye to my dad, and made my way over to Rhonda's.

We were all gathered around the dining room table, we were eating brown sugar honey ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. Cooper sat next to me and Harry sat next to him. I was really happy that Cooper was doing better, he's still a little sick but not as bad as the other night when I was over here.
Cooper was telling Harry about all the toys he got for Christmas and Harry told Cooper what he got for Christmas. After that they proceeded to talk about video games, a typical boy conversation topic.
After dinner, we all helped clean the dishes and put everything away. Once Rhonda put the last dirty dish in the dishwasher, Cooper grabbed Harry's hand and started running towards the living room.
"It's time to open presents, Harry!" Cooper shouted, as him and Harry ran into the living room. "Mom, Dad, Sanie hurry up!"
"We're on our way, Coop. Chill out." Dave said, while walking to the living room.
I waited and walked with Rhonda. Once we got into the living room, Rhonda sat down in her rocking chair while I sat on the floor in front of Harry. I sat between his legs and he placed his hands on my shoulders. Cooper walked over to the tree and grabbed a few presents. He handed Harry a couple presents and then he sat down in front of me. Rhonda handed me a few presents and then David told us to open them.
Cooper was the first one to tear his wrapping paper to shreds. The first present he opened was filled with clothes. He got a flannel shirt and some really nice Levi's. The next box he opened, he pulled out a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. He grabbed a square shaped present and unwrapped it, he pulled off all the wrapping paper to reveal a Jason Aldean CD. Cooper loves Jason Aldean, any time Cooper and I are in the car he always asks me to turn the radio on to a
country station so he can listen to Jason.
"Cooper, open the CD." Dave said.
"I can't, there's too much tape." Cooper said.
