Chapter 41

*** SADIE'S POINT OF VIEW. ***

I was standing in the bedroom. I was looking through my suitcase, trying to find something to wear. Harry asked me this morning if I wanted to go out for breakfast so I was in a rush to get ready. I already took a shower and I already did my hair and makeup. I finally found something to wear, I picked out one of my Sleeping with Sirens tees, a pair of red skinny jeans, a grey zip up the front hoodie, and a pair of black combat boots. I put everything on and laced up my boots before putting a black beanie on, I ran my fingers through my straight hair after I adjusted my beanie.

"Hey, you ready to go?" Harry asked, standing in the doorway of the bedroom.

"Yeah, just let me grab my bag and then we can leave." I said, walking towards the bed and grabbing my purse.

After that Harry and I walked out of the hotel and to his car. We got in and started driving around, trying to find a restaurant. After we drove around for a while, Harry pulled into a parking lot. I looked up at the restaurant, we were at Perkins. I love Perkins, it's a half restaurant half bakery...their bakery is amazing. I love coming here.

Harry and I got out of the car and made our way up to the front doors. We walked in and it was pretty crowded in there. Most of the people in there looked like they just got out of church, everyone was dressed up. Harry and I stood in the front waiting area, he held my hand and held me close to him. Every once in a while he would pull his phone out and text someone, I kept trying to see who he was texting but he was too quick for me. He would pull his phone out, unlock it, type of few words, send the message, shut his phone off, then his phone would go right back into his pocket.

"Hi, is it just you two this morning?" A lady, who I assumed worked there, asked.

"Yes ma'am!" Harry said.

"Alright, follow me!" The lady said.

She led us to the very back of the restaurant. She motioned us to a little table for two, Harry and I sat down and she handed us our menus.

"What can I get you two to drink?" The lady asked.

"I'll have a nice warm cup of sweet tea." Harry said, looking over his menu.

"Chocolate milk is fine for me." I said, looking over my menu as well.

The lady let out a tiny laugh, "Alright, I'll be right back with your drinks."

After that the lady disappeared. It was pretty quiet at our table for a while, until Harry spoke up.

"So what's the plan for Christmas?" Harry asked.

"Well, I'll be with my mom the majority of the day on Christmas and then I'll spend the night at my dad's. Christmas night will be the night where Rhonda, Dave, and Cooper will be coming over and I'll celebrate Christmas with them. The day after Christmas is when Rhonda and Dave invited you over and we'll celebrate Christmas over there. Like with our own little family...you know? Then right after that, I'll be out of town for a few days because I'll be with my dad's side of the family for Christmas." I said.

"You're one busy girl." Harry said, smiling and once again pulling his phone out of his pocket. He let out a laugh, "Oh gosh."

"What?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing." Harry said, looking at his phone and smiling once again before putting his phone face down on the table.

"Okay..." I said, it got quiet again.

"What are you going to eat?" Harry asked.

"I have no idea yet, everything looks really good." I said, looking at my menu. "What are you go-"
