Chapter 21 (:
-Gemma's POV-
It's been 4 days since Liam asked me out and it's been 3 days since Keshia talked to me about confronting Liam.
I am now standing in front of Liam's hotel door, wondering whether I should or shouldn't knock. I lifted my hand up but stopped midway, changing my mind. I heard him talking to someone from the inside; probably one of the boys.
I was about to move away from the door until a little girl who was running pushed me towards Liam's door and caused it to 'bang' and hit my right arm. I rubbed my sore arm and looked for the little girl but she had disappeared.
I sighed. I turned around then I heard a door open from behind me.
"Gemma?" Liam asked.
He looked at me for a moment. "Want to come in?"
I turned around to face him. "Oh, um, hey, Liam,"
I nodded, not trusting my words.
We came in and he sat down on the foot of his bed. He patted the seat next to him, telling me to sit down next to him. I sat next to him but kept my distance as I don't want to make him feel awkward around me.
"So," He started, "What happened out there?"
"Oh, you mean the huge bang?" I laughed uneasily.
He nodded, a smile creeping out of his mouth.
I chuckled. "A little girl 'accidentally' pushed me then I kind of hit your door quite hard."
He chuckled. "'What were you doing outside of my door then?"
I blushed. "I was going to talk to you but then decided to go against it," I confessed.
He looked speechless and now I'm lost in his chocolate brown eyes. Out of nowhere, he hugged me.
"Gemma, I missed you," He murmured.
Tears started escaping my eyes. It has been 4 days and I miss him. The fact is; I miss Liam. I miss his hugs, I miss his smile, I miss his laugh, and I miss his everything.
"Liam, I am so sorry," I sobbed on his shirt.
He started patting me on my back, calming me down. "Shh, it's alright. We're alright."
"No! We're not alright!" I cried out. He pulled away from our 'hug' and looked at me confused. "Liam, I really, really like you,"
I must be a sight, especially since my mascara and eyeliner must be all over my face.
He looked speechless - surprise even.
"If you don't feel the same, it's fine." I continued then hugged him. I stood up and was about halfway to the door when I felt him hug me on my waist.
"How can you think I don't feel the same way when I asked you out in the first place?" He asked.
I shrugged. "I don't know, maybe because you weren't responding back?" I rhetorically asked.
"Why did you run off that night when I asked you out?"
I froze and sighed. I guess it's better to tell him the truth. "Because I thought that you will break up with me when you find another girl out there."
He chuckled.
"It's not funny!" I defended.
He shut up but I could hear him trying to not laugh. He kissed my cheek. "That's impossible, Gemma. You're the only one I want and the only one I will cherish."
