Chapter 9

KATNISS POV

Me and Peeta get home just in time for dinner "Mum Peeta is staying over tonight as well" I say "ok" she says and helps prim put the lamb stew on the table. We sit down and eat the lamb stew. Prim and my mother keep looking at me and Peeta with smirks.

Finally we finish dinner and we have desert, prim and my mother try to equally share out the left over Apple pie we ate yesterday. Me and Peeta put ice cream on ours and eat it quickly. We walk up to my bedroom and sit down

"Your so beautiful" he says I blush a little and kiss him. The kiss starts off gentle and slow but soon it turns kind of rough, I feel his tongue brush against my lips and I let him in, I push Peeta down on the bed so I am on top of him and we keep kissing. I take my jumper off and so does Peeta. My hands go straight to his hair and he puts his on my waist, it gets rougher and I take out my braid peeta immediately moves his hands towards my hair and we keep kissing until Prim walks in.

" Kat-" Her eyes widen and her mouth is a 'O' shape and I spring off Peeta "O.MY.GOD" is all she says before running out

"shit" I mutter. Peeta has a huge smile on his face and I can't help smiling because I am so lucky to have him "omg that's so embarrassing" I say flopping back onto my bed. Peeta starts laughing "what?" He says with a smile "my 12 year old sister caught me making out that's what!"I say Peeta lies down next to me playing with my loose hair "she's gonna tell my mom and then uhhhhh I'm dead"

Peeta just laughs and brings me into a hug "well who can blame me how can you not want to kiss that face" he says with a smirk kissing the top of my head. I laugh and kiss his cheek "next time I have to lock my door" I say "yeah" he says letting go "

me and Peeta quickly change into our pyjamas and lie down. " want to watch a movie?" I ask him "sure" he says and I go and turn my TV on "what movie do you want to watch?" I ask him "I don't mind" we finally agree on Grown Ups 2. It's kind of cheesy but it's funny.

By the time the movie is finished it 10:45 and Peeta and I agree that we are to tired to watch another movie. I fall asleep with Peeta next to me cuddled up to into his chest. And fall asleep into a dreamless sleep.

When I wake up I see Peeta is awake and looking at me "hi beautiful" he says and kisses my nose. I stretch my arms and then cuddle back up to him "hey" I say. I chuckles and then hugs me. We stay like that for what feels like forever until Prim knocks on my door.

THANK GOD she finally learned her lesson I think to my self

I yawn before answering "come in" and prim walks in "mum made breakfast" "ok be down in a sec" I say and sit up. Me and Peeta walk down hand in hand "I made pancakes" my mothers says and leaves us alone "thanks mum" I say before she walks out. "What do you want to do today?" I ask biting into my pancake "not sure" he says "Wanna call the guys and see if they want to go to the beach?" I ask "yeah sounds great"

We finish our pancakes and go upstairs I text everyone and tell them and they agree to meet at 10:00 I look at the clock 9:10. Me and Peeta change into our swimsuits I'm wearing my favourite rainbow bikini and I put I t-shirt on top and Peeta is in some blue board shorts with a singlet top on. By the time we are ready it's 9:20 and I tell my Mother and Prim "we are going to the beach see you in a while" I say and me and Peeta walk to the beach
