Averyn's POV

I found myself sitting in the cafeteria, along with my other two friends, Helen and Dania, and Dania's boyfriend, Harry. We were having our lunch while waiting for Darren to show up. Talking about our upcoming exams, I discovered that I need to do well this time because I screwed up last time, possesed with Korean's drama,Blood. Go Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun, the main casts are dating in real life, made my heart crushed due to fangirling on the handsome actor.

I saw Darren's figure and he made his way towards our table,not bothering to buy lunch because I bought it for him. That's our exchanged roles if one of us show up late for lunch. Man, if we're this systematic about studies. You know, I'll help him with notes if he was absence and vice versa but he was so lazy when it comes to studies, but always score in exams. I wish I could change my brain with him.

He took the sit next to me, as always hanging his heavy arms around my shoulder. "Thanks V W X Y Z," he muttered, pointing to the lunch I bought for him. "That's why I hate it when you called me V rather than Ave. You'll continue the alphabets, as if you're still learning ABC like 3 years old kid." He munched his lunch, looking at me with a smile. "You know? If I can arrange the alphabets, I want to put I and U next to each other." I rolled my eyes. He started with his damn pickup lines. I could see that others in the table hiding their smile, watching us.

"But, N and O always been together," I answered. He finished his lunch, took a sip of his drinks.When I thought he had done with his teases, there he comes again."You know?" I shook my head off."No," I answered in a jiffy. He rolled his brown eyes, showing me a bad boy looks. "My favourite alphabets are U R A Q T," he added.

"Damn, I heard the pickup lines numerous times but they made it sound super cute," Dania commented. I rolled my eyes,while Darren gave her a grin. "I really ship you guys if you're a real couple," Helen said. "Ship? Like Pirates of Carribean? But Darren can't be Captain Jack Sparrow cause he's my bae. Maybe he can be the one with octopus on his face," I stated. "Are you saying I'm your bae? Did you just confessing that you like me?" Darren teased. "I'm talking about Captain Jack Sparrow, stupid, "I flicked his forehead. "Even though you hurt my handsome forehead,my heart crashed by your denial words of liking me."

"You guys are so cute," Harry butted in, still holding Dania's hand on the table. And then,the most annoying words came out from his mouth.

"Are you sure you guys are just friends? Not more than that?"
