Everyone piled out from the house and their expression was priceless. I just stood and smiled smugly, I did just fix our chance of survival. They stepped forward but froze midway through. I panicked and copies their movement, my view moved around the emotionless faces of my peers. Something moved just off to the side of everyone; twisting my head just slightly I saw it. Several zombies began to flood the lower part of the street, continually blocking our exit. I turned back to everyone else, they stood still. "What do we do?" I questioned in a whisper. The words fell to the floor and I'm surprised someone heard me.

"I don't know, that is the only way out, it's too risky to barge through" I hear Georgina say from the back of the group. I didn't even notice her until now. I nodded and walked back towards the house, slowly and quietly. Everyone followed me in and I left the door ajar, so not to alert the zombies but at the same time keep us from being spotted. "Is there another way off this road?" she questioned, pushing her long fringe out her face. I turned to Dylan since at one point he lived close to where we were.

"There is a foot path to get out, however we can't take the van with us, and it's going to be a while so we may have to walk" I resisted kicking the damaged wall in front of me in rage. I took a deep breath and picked up my back pack and jacket off the floor.

"Ready?" I addressed the entire group; they looked bewildered. "I'm not staying here whilst that hoard is near! It is too dangerous" I screamed as a whisper. They nodded and walked out the door. I counted the amount of people that left through the door and counted nine people, I counted again only to land on the say result. I scanned the many faces in front of me to notice one of the older members of our party was missing. "Where's Zoe?" I asked looking back into the house. I looked at a small group of people: Lamim, Georgina and Kyle. I face palmed at their guilty expression. "What happened?"

"Well you see, um..." Kyle began to speak but trailed off. "She kinda got stuck, with some zombies" he smiled but I just face palmed more as they hadn't told anyone.

"We didn't say before cause of Robin, she would have only gotten worse" Georgina joked elbowing Lamim in the side. He laughed hesitantly so not to get damaged anymore. I shrugged it off and walked off, watching each move I made with my crutches.

We made it past the hoard and carried on our duties to get to safety. "Where do we go? We have no map, no compass and no way to know which way to go past our area" My mum spoke up from behind me, I stopped abruptly and thought. I looked at the surroundings to notice we were past the town. I pointed ahead to the winding road.

"Go to the next town, I'm pretty sure they have an old Argos and BHS that has to have something to help us" I said but noticed the time of day. "We better find somewhere to stay the night, we stand more chance to rest than die of exhaustion" I sat on a nearby by tree stump to rest my leg. "Tomorrow we begin our adventure, again"
