I bob my head and beat my thumbs on the steering wheel as Secrets By One Republic plays through the speakers.

"I'm gonna give all my secrets away," I sing as I turn into the cafe parking lot. I hum to the beat of the song as I park.

I turn off the car, pushing open the door and getting out slamming it shut. I swing my keys around on the lantern, as I walk to the entrance pulling open the door.

The bell rings signaling a customer and the warm air engulfs me. Tessa looks up from under the counter and smiles brightly,

"Sam!" She says, grasping some people's attention around the restaurant. She looks around and her cheeks flush pink from embarrassment.

I chuckle slightly as I walk towards the counter. I look around and a teenage guy in the table a couple ways from me with his friends, winks at me.

If I new changing my style would catch this much attention I would've done it along time ago.

I grin and continue walking. I get up to the counter and place my forearms on it leaning against it.

"Sam," Tessa says, pushing the hair out of her face.

"Tessa," I say jokingly.

She gives me a once over, "I like your change of style."

I push myself off the counter where she can get a better look, "You like?" I ask, spinning.

"I love!" She exclaims as I lean on the counter again.

Her face drops and I see concern and sorrow overcome her face but, she doesn't dare say a word. She knows about my Grandmas passing the whole town does, my grandma and grandpa where favored here my mother also. But, Tessa knows I don't do sympathy so she doesn't show me it, she goes on like everything's normal, that's how I like it.

I smile at her, "Thought I would try something new for a change," I say, twirling my hair.

"Yea I know. That's what I did and I happened to like this style better." She says, placing a cup under the sink.

"It suits you," I say, with a smile and she smiles back.

A customer walks up to the counter and Tessa greets them,

"What can I get for you?" She says brightly.

"Just a black coffee to go please," the husky voice says.

I straighten myself out and take the moment to look over and see who it is only to find the gorgeous boy already looking at me.

He hard dark brown hair and he was wearing a white plain shirt and jeans. He smiles at me and I smile back.

"And may I ask who you are?," he ask, sticking out his hand for me to shake.

I take his hand in mine and shake it, "Samantha," I say.

"Tyler," he says, letting go of my hand with a bright smile.

Tessa puts the cup in front of him, clasping the lid on tight.

He looks at the cup and back up at her before turning back to me and smiling.

"Your total is 2:30," she says, with a smile grasping his attention.

He looks away from me, digging in his pocket and pulling at his wallet. He hands her a three dollar bill, "Keep the change," he says with a smile, picking up his cup.

She smiles back at him, and he looks over at me smiling, I also smile back, "Have a nice evening lady's," he says brightly, turning and walking out of the store.
