2 years later.

I hear the door open and click shut.

I continue scrubbing the tiled walls of our guest bathroom shower.

"Why is my pregnant wife cleaning?" Clayton says.

I look up at him as he stands in the doorway of the bathroom in a dark black suite. I smirk as I drop the sponge and stand up, placing my hand on my lower back.

"Doctor said more moving around will push him out faster and make sure he's due on time."

He shakes his head, walking closer to me.

"How was work honey?" I ask, as he wraps his arms around me, my big belly preventing him from being able to hug me completely.

He tilts his head, "Just another day in the office."

"How's Declan?"

"He's good, we're on this new case together." He says, rubbing my back.

I nod, "How's Katie? How's pregnancy treating her?" I question.

He shrugs, "Declan says she's getting grumpy, just coming up on four months."

I nod.

I stand on my tip toes, giving him a kiss.

"Now, let me get back to my cleaning." I say, patting his arm.

He rolls his eyes playfully, rubbing my belly.

" Your nose strips are on the kitchen counter." I say, turning back towards the shower.

"Nose strips?"

"I'm not gonna have you snoring and waking up the baby." I say, glancing at him as I bend down to grab the sponge.

He gives me a mean glare, "I'm not gonna wear fucking nose strips."

I stop scrubbing the shower and look at him sternly, "You'll wear whatever I tell you to wear for the damn baby." I say, with raised eyebrows.

He groans, walking out of the bathroom.

•••••••••••

I jolt awake, a strong pain erupting in my lower belly.

I slap Clayton's arm, causing him to wake up.

"Huh?" He ask, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm going into labor." I say, noticing the wet spot between my legs as I pull back the blanket.

He immediately jumps out of bed, pulling on sweats and a shirt.

"Grab my robe." I say.

He nods, quickly grabbing my robe off the bathroom door.

He hands it to me and I slip it on as he grabs the bag full of my clothes, the babies and also his.

I stand up, slipping on my house shoes.

He helps me down the hall and out of the house, into the car.
