I slowly woke up, stretching my arms above my head.

I got up out of bed, going to the bathroom, using it, brushing my teeth, and washing my face.

I put on my glasses and walk down stairs.

Clayton was still snoring on the couch so, I decided to make some coffee.

I grabbed a cup out of the cabinet and set it by the coffee maker. I yawned leaning my back against the counter, looking out the window, at the screened in patio.

My piano sat on the left side of the patio, overlooking the backyard, it's been years since I've played.

I lean up off the counter, walking towards the patio door, I push it open as the morning air engulfs me. I slowly sit down, lifting up the cover to show the keys.

A slight breeze causes my hair to blow, as it was down.

I slide my hands over the keys and position them.

{Start Song}

"Come on Skinny Love just last the year,"

My fingers traveled naturally across the keys, playing the tunes.

"Poor a little salt, we where never here,"

"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my."

"Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer."

My fingers picked up on the keys as I played harder and faster,

"I tell my love to wreck it all, cut out all the ropes and let me fall."

"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my"

"Right in the moment this orders tall."

I played stronger and sang with more feeling.

"I told you to be patient, I told you to be fine, I told you to be balanced, I told you to be kind, in the morning I'll be with you but it will be a different kind, cause I'll be holding all the tickets, and you'll be owning all the fines."

"Come on skinny love what happened here, Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere,"

"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my,"

"Sullen load is full, so slow on the split,"

"I told you to be patient, I told to be fine, I told to be balanced, I told you to be kind, Now all your love is wasted?"

"Then who the hell was I? Now I'm breaking at the bridges, And at the end of all your lines."

I slowed down as my fingers glided across the keys,

"Who will love you?
Who will fight?
Who will fall far behind?"

"Come on skinny looovvvvvee"

"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my,"

"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my,"

{Let Song End}

I finished the song my fingers a coming to a stop, laying on the keys.

A tear streamed down my face, I quickly wiped it away lifting my head up to look out the screen of the patio looking at the backyard, I let out a breath, and rubbed my hands on my thighs as I sniffled.

'Clap, clap, clap,'

I turned around so fast, Im surprised I didn't get whiplash. Clayton was leaning against the door frame clapping, with a smirk on his face.

I quickly turned back around wiping my face, and straightening my glasses.

"Well done Anderson, didn't know you could play,"

"Well I didn't intend for you to know, nor anyone else for that matter," I say, pulling the cover over the keys and getting up off the stool.

"Why hide such a beautiful voice Anderson?" He ask, sarcastically.

"For this reason right here," I say, pointing at him, as I squeeze past him into the kitchen.

"Don't like all the attention do we?" He ask.

I scoff, pouring some coffee in my cup, "No I'm not a big fan of 'attention' unlike you."

"Harsh," he says, putting his hand over his heart in mock of hurt.

I pour some creamer in my coffee,

He pours himself some coffee, sipping on it as he sits down at the island.

"Black, really?" I say, with a disgusted face.

He sets his cup down, "It's good,"

"It's like drinking tar," I say, getting out some pancake mix.

" 'it's like drinking tar' " he says, mocking me, "oh bite me."

"No thanks." I say, getting out a pan.

"What're we having for breakfast?"

"I'm having pancakes, I don't what your having." I say, pouring pancake batter into the pan.

"Come on share Anderson." He says, coming up behind me as he watches me cook over my shoulder.

I turn around pushing him back, "No I'm not a maid, make your own." I say, getting another pan out.

"No but, you sure are a bit-"

I cut him short, "If you want to live, then don't even think about finishing that sentence," I say, holding the pan up.

He puts his hands up in defense.

I put the pan down on the stove, throwing some bacon in it.

I finish cooking the food, and put it on plates, 2 pancakes on each and 2 pieces of bacon.

I turn around, setting one plate in front of Clayton and the other in front of the seat beside him.

"Aw I knew you'd cave in Anderson." He says, with a smirk.

"I can still take your food away," I say, with a serious face as I sit down.

He looks at me with wide eyes and starts chowing down.

I chuckle, "Chill you little chipmunk, I'm not going to take your food." I say, cutting into my food.

"Oh, thank god," he says, with a mouth full of pancake.

We eat and talk and then I cleaned our plates and my mess and the kitchen and then went upstairs, while Clayton texted on his phone.

I brushed through my hair, putting on black skinny jeans and a grey tank top, with a red jacket and my grey converse.

"Samantha! We are gonna be late for the meeting!" Clayton yells, up the stairs.

I grab my phone and my keys, running down the stairs, he opens the door walking out to his car. I follow behind, locking the door and shutting it.

We get in the car and drive off towards the gang.

Yep this is the chapter.
