I huff in frustration as I click on my phone once more.

Ten percent battery left and still no signal.

Dammit.

I peek my head up again, looking through the doors small glass window.

The dancing girls have left by now after the guy on the couch slapped the blonde girl, he took off with her somewhere.

Leaving Patricia, Cash and some other guy in the room.

I push myself up against the door, so I can hear better as Patricia and Cash start talking.

I hear a click and a creek and before I know it I'm stomach first, starring at a red carpeted floor.

I cringe internally, slowly lifting my head as Cash, Patricia and the random guy stare at me.

I catch Patricia's eyes with mine as a confused look quickly crosses her face and is replaced with an angry one.

"What the hell!" She yells.

I quickly stumble to my feet, sneakily shoving my phone in my back pocket.

"Why are you out here?" She questions angrily, as she stomps toward me.

I quickly get my act together and stand my ground,

"You really think your going to get away with this Patricia?" I challenge her, as she stops, standing in front of me.

She lets her eyes cross over my face as she breaths heavily, "I know I am Samantha." She sneers.

I curl my fist, stepping back from her.

"Cash! Grab her and put her in another room."

Cash stands still in his spot, staring at me.

Patricia waits a couple seconds before repeating herself to Cash.

She quickly whips around staring at Cash.

She quietly starts to laugh, "Oh are you getting in your feels now? Can't hurt poor poor Samantha." She teases him.

His jaw clenches and unclenches as he glares at her.

She shakes her head, turning to look at the random guy, "Jase, will you do the honors."

The random guy I now know as Jase, starts to walk over to me as I walk backwards.

He goes to reach for my arm and I yank it out of his reach, punching him in the face.

He tries for the other arm and I punch him once more, pounding his chest.

He growls, raising his hand and slapping me hard across the face as I wimp and fall to the ground.

"What the hell!" Cash yells, running over to me.

"Cash! Don't forget what you have and what I can do to hurt you and make your life a living hell." Patrica speaks up from behind Cash.

He stops in his tracks, a blank expression crossing his face as Jase grabs my arms roughly yanking me onto my feet.

I see a look of sympathy and apology on Cashes face as I struggle in Jase's grip before I feel a hard wack to the head, followed by black nothingness.

Clayton's P.O.V

"Take a right at the next red light." Jon says from the backseat, as I speed down the street.

Old torn down houses, rusted buildings and graffiti, fill my view rushing past as quickly as they appear.

I ignore everything else around me, focusing on Samantha. How could I let this happen, I was supposed to protect her yet, here I am trying to save her. The moment I laid my eyes on her and realized I felt so much love for the girl standing in front of me even if she didn't feel it back, I promised myself I'd do anything to keep her from hurting but, in the glimpse of all that, I've been the one hurting her his whole time. I let her slip away to chicken to tell her my feelings and now she's fallen in love with a guy who turned his back on her and doesn't even have the balls to tell her the truth, I'm a real coward.
