APOLLO POV.
Now what?
I close my eyes, and I notice a pull in a certian direction.
I let my hand guide me towards it.
The sound of the strange birds fills the air. I open my eyes and run towards the pull.
Trees, bushes, flowers, and wildlife wiz by as I gallop through the forest.
Of course, I trip. I ram into the ground, head first. I stand up, curse, and chase after the pull.
Suddenly, I stop.
A nest with one large, strange, white, round thing sits in it. I lift the thing into my arms.
It's the size of the large of my back.
Then, I realize it's an egg.
I glance around.
An instinct tells me to take it. Common sense says to leave it. Instinct wins. Big time.
I meander about for a while, and I manage to find the clearing from earlier.
I set the egg in a knot hole from a tree. I then rush back home. When I get back, Dad doesn't even glance at me.
I ask his right hand man, Harry, "Why is he in a mood?"
Hary replies by pushing my hair back and pulling me to a mirror.
He whispers in his strange accent, "That, laddy. That is why e's mad at cha."
I touch the diamond.
Harry nods.
I ask, "What does that have to do with anything? It's been there since birth."
He shushes me, and replies, "Couldn't tell yah, laddy. But rumours of strange vigilante people have gone around..."
I ask, "What does that..."
Then, Harry disappears.
What?
I walk back outside.
I find my best friend for advice.
I head for the stables, and find him grooming a gaurd's horse.
He greets, "Hi, Apollo."
I reply, "Hi. Can I ask you about something?"
He replies, "Sure. Shoot."
I ask, "Lance, your a mage in training. What does this mean."
I lift my hair, reveling my scar.
He grabs the stall for support.
A smile spreads across his face like peanut putter over bread.
He cries, "Rider!"
He leaps out of the stall, and high fives me.
I ask, "A-a w-w-h-h-at?"
He repeats loud enough for neighboring countries to hear, "Rider!"
The gaurds freeze, and rush inside the stable.
They look around for the rider.
The lead gaurd, the one who's constantly catching me, demands in shock, "Where?"
Lance's smile gives me away, big time.
I turn around, hair still shoved to the left.
The gaurds turn white, and lower thier various weapons.
One whispers to the leader, "What do we do, Galvin?"
Glavin shakes his head.
They stare at me.
