LIBBYS' POV. The next morning...
I crack my eyes.
I'm in the infermery.
Sharonnis crying at my bedside.
I comfort her, "Hey. It's okay!"
She screams, looking for who said it.
I calm her, "Shar! Calm down! It's me! I'm okay!"
She gasps, "Your wake! And you can talk to me! I wasn't sure if.. if you'd sorted that out yet!"
I ask, confused, "What? talking?"
She laughs, "Oh. Your funny. I really missed you!"
I smile.
I hug her, and she hugs back.
I spring up, feeling great.
A bruise on my shoulder is my only ailment.
I trot to class, figuring Starlight must be asleep.2 hrs later...
I don't know what's wrong with everyone today!
I try to talk to people, but they run off covering their ears!
Grrrr!
Suddenly, a wet sensation covers me.
I fall to the floor.
I open my eyes in a strange world.
It's dark, and a pair of eyes are in mine.
Wolf? No, Bobcat? Tiger? Owl? Hybrid of all of them?
I pass back into reality, drenched somehow.
I run to find Sharon.
The look on her face suggests that she's having the insightful moment she has once in a while.
She tilts her head as she sees me.
She asks, magic calmness eched into every word, "What if your life is a book in a parallel universe? What if the reason you forgot is because the author was unsatisfied?"
I ask, confused by the outburst, "What do you mean? I'm confused!"
Sharon tilts her head more, and smiles.
She replies, "Oh nothing."
I leave, deciding not to get into that argument.
I can't sense Starlight now, and it scares me.
I decide to go find the powers counsler.
She's sitting at her desk, feet on the desk.
Her mahogany desk seems to perfectly fit her laid back personality and red brown hair.
I knock on the door, and she swings it open with her mind.
I walk in, and she looks up.
She smiles, "Libby!"
I nod, and ask, "Can I ask you about something?"
She nods, fidgeting with her clicky pen.
Her brown eyes meet mine, and lock.
I ask, "I can't find Starlight, and everyone runs off when I try to talk. What's going on?"
She pulls her feet down, and leans forward.
She gestures for me to sit across from her.
She lock on my eyes, and her eyes begin to shift colours.
She sighs, "I... I can't... tell you. I can't tell you."
I stand up, shock lighting a match in my heart.
I demand, "Why not?"
She sighs, "Becuase you don't even know who you are right now! Or where! Or... ug! Go."
I walk out, trying to remeber who I am. I remember that, and that I'm at school.
What did she mean?
Suddenly, the splitting head ache shoved me to the floor like an angry gaurd.@Chrisscross25 gave me the idea for Sharons philosophical moment! You guys should check her out!
