??? POV.
I decide to take Kal for a walk through the woods. His big black wings shiffle as he worms into the trees. The midnight sky is so beautiful here, much prettier then in Smogglem. It's always cloudy there, but here it's so beautiful it hurts.
Kal growls at something, and wraps his thick black tail around me.
I ask, "What, bud?"
I squint to see what he's upset about, but I can't see a thing.
Then, the sound of a tiger startles me. Why would there be a tiger here?
I notice a pair of glowing gold eyes, and a wave of familiarity waves over me...
A name pops into my head, a name I've never heard of...,
I call out, "Apollo?"
APOLLO POV... 15 min. Earlier...
I wake up in a patch of clean grass. The rest is black.
Or maybe that's the midnight playing tricks on me?
I go for a drink of water, and notice that the change must of occcured during my sleep.
I look into the water, but only see a pair of gold eyes.
I call Pandora out.
She brings me into her mind, so I can see myself clearly.
I notice a huge blackish red cat laying at Pandoras' white feet.
I gasp at how scary it looks. It's fangs are huge! Not to mention its' size!
Pandora sends me back to my body, and I remember that I'm the beast.
I look into the creek. I notice a bunch of bleach blonde tiger stripes all over my new form.
I'm a tiger?
I hear a person and a Hyper hybrid dragon approahing, and wander over to see hello.
I crouch low when growls echoe through the forest.
The sound of a girl my age echoes through the clearing.
Suddenly, she calls my name.
I ask, "He... Hello?"
Since when do I stutter?
A small cry of suprise and a dragonic growl echoes across the land.
I sniff the air, and pick up the scent of fear.
I tell Pandora to let me on her back.
She bends down, and I pad up her back. Soon, I'm straddling the set of spines that run down her back, and we're moving.
The dragon sees me and warbles.
Pandora warbles back.
The girl whispers, "The Yang."
I ask, "Well, that's a new one! I'm used to The Cursed One, or better yet, The Beast from Nightmares!"
The girl laughs, and explains, "They call me Ying. I have the same problem as you, but I'm a day shifter. Everybody loves me, but I see that's better than being a dark crawler... say, do you have a diamond on your forehead?"
I nod, and remember a bleach blonde outline of a diamond on my forehead.
I ask, "So, what's your transformed form?"
She smiles, "The oppisite of you!"
I think for a while, then I notice that the sun's creeping up.
I sheild my eyes, and wait for some wild transformstion back. No such luck.
The girl doesn't seem suprised.
She whispered, "I'm a bleach blonde tiger with black stripes. I'm supposed to shift soon, which is why I'm here. It's my first time. I know what I am because a Future Mage showed me..."
Then, a bright light percies the darkness, and the wind picks up.
White snow falls down gentley, but it doesn't seem as terrifying as when I transformed.
When I can see again, a bleach blonde tiger with a diamond on it's forehead is laying on the ground.
I leap off of Pandora.
When the girl wakes, I ask, "What's your name?"
She smiles and whispers, "Echo."
I smile, until I hear a rustle from beside us.
When Feona and Athena stumble out of the trees, they seem shocked.
I explain, "I knew sending me to this was a bad idea! But... I did discover I wasn't cursed by Lance! I discovered that Echo here knows something that's happening, that we don't."
