APOLLOS' POV.
A mob of Fays are in front of us.
They're smiling, a little too much. The whole town heroes smile.
It was too much for that day. I flattened against the ground, and pinned back my ears.
The man from the chairs' voice booms, "ENOUGH! Can you not see they are stressin out?"
I begin to shake, and they leave.
I stand up, and shake my pelt.
The man introduces, "I am the leader of this Fay clan. You may call me.... Arthur. I am very glad to have you hear, but I fear my subjects have much more enthusiasm than I."
I laugh, and Pandoras' voice echoes in my head, "Still not used to it! So weird and deep, weird."
I begin to laugh harder, placing more wieght on the ground.
The leader seems confused at who I'm laughing at.
Libby clarifies, "His dragon can't get used to his wolf voi..."
I growl a warning.
She stops, and glares at me.
The leader is smirking kindly.
He laughs, "Ah, yes. The awkward phases of Shifter hood. I too know someone who had the same issue! He lead you here today!"
I nod.
The man says, "I've heard you're curious of the heritage you have as a species. Apollo, I've heard you're curious about your little curse."
I nod.
He begins.
This is what he tells me....

Once, there were three species. Dragons, Fays, and human.
The Dragons and the Fays stayed true to the laws of magic, but the humans degraded themselves rapidly. They lost thier rights to magic, except a few. When riders began to emerge, magic was brought back into the race.

Then, he cries, "Now it gets exciting and worth listening to!"
Kip.
A tear falls over my cheek for my lost teacher.
I dry it, and keep walking after the man.
He continues....
You were made into these beasts by a half Fay sent on orders of the Fay king. He is here now, recruited last year. He said he knew you, and wants to meet up with you tonight. Is this okay, Apollo?"
I nod.
I see Libby shift uncomfortablly.
I whisper, "If it's Lance, he won't harm a butterfly... unless time changed him the same as I fear it did me."
She nods, relaxing slightly.
Arthur walks us to a hunters' shack.
He knocks twice.
A taller, stronger, Lance is in front  of me.
I ask, "Half Fay, eh?"
Arthur grumbles and exclaims, "My mistake! Full Fay."
Lance nods.
He seems too shocked to speak.
I begin, "I don't blame you for any of my problems, if that's what's making this so awkward."
Ooofff!
Lance is hugging me?
This is still the Lance I knew a year ish ago!
I wriggle free, and we begin to catch each other up.
Then, the sun crests the horizon. I feel my human side flash back, and keep walking.
Lance seemed to be waiting for something, but then seemed disoriented.
I ask, the wolf voice sticking, "What?"
Lance stops walking.
I turn to look where he is.
Pandora and Loki are perched on a roof top.
I ask, "What? Their mates, dude. Calm yourself."
He seems suprised at how calm I am.
I get a heavy shove, and nearly fall on my face.
I turn around, but nobody's thier.
I turn around, and keep walking.... slowly.
Then, I fall flat on my face in the middle of the street.
I try to stand up, but something is forcing me down.
I growl, and Lance leaps away. The townsflok seem concerned.
I end up wolf again, but I can shift to a tiger.
I look at Lance, sliently asking what was going on.
