APOLLOS' POV.
We walk into the school, and I notice a few changes. There's no glass windows, they're all bared. The doors also have barred doors.
The man gestures to a set of stairs that weren't there before. They're blocked by a heavy, barred door. Above the door, a wolf is carved into the stone.
I open the door with the key he gives me.
I trot up the stairs, and my Shadows pop up. I smile, and we keep running.
I hear another student, and warn my Shadows. They refuse to go into tattoo form, and we keep going.
A girl rounds the corner and screams. She runs back up the stairs, hands flailing, dress flying. I sigh, and keep climbing the stairs. My Shadows hide away in the tattoo, and start playing with Pandora.
I step onto the landing, and look around. A few rooms are littered down the halls, all with storm doors that are barred.
I find mine, number 5.
I notice something odd.
The other dorms had one set of bars, one set od storm doors, and one normal door. Mine had two set of bars. One locks inside, the other locks from both, but can't be opened easily from the outside.
I open the doors, and walk into my room. I grab the bar doors, and pull them shut. I pulk down the storm door, and shut the normal door.
CLUNCK.
I try to open the door, but it's locked.
Well then.
I find a surplus of pet beds, probably for my Shadows. I let them out.
One single bed sits in the corner, and a large rock slab is beside it.
Pandora leaps out, and lies down on the slab.
My Shadows plop into beds, and begin to snore.
I crawl onto the bed, not bothering to pull any of my armor off.
A knock on my door manages to coax me back up.
I push my helmet over my head, and stand up.
I begin unlocking doors, and my Shadows stare at the door with mild intrest.
I push up the storm door, and open the bars up.
It's Echo.
Great.
She asks, clipboard in hand, "So, who are you, really?"
I notice my Shadows come up behind me.
Echo stands there, expecting an answer in detail.
I take my helmet off, and stare at her.
She simply stares, confused.
I growl, "Go ask Libby. Or Tide. Or whatever you call her these days!"
I begin to shut doors.
I shut the bar doors, and a hand grabs me.
I pull back, uncomfortable.
I look at Echo with confusion, while shaking my hand. My armor creaking was the only sound in the empty hall.
Echo stares at me, then relization crosses her face.
I smirk, "Now do you get it?"
I close the storm door, and lock the basic wood door.
I call Libby, and she asks if I want to go flying.
I nod, and tell her I'll be right there.
I call my Shadows into tattoo, and wake Pandora up. I push my helemet over my head, and open the doors leading to the balcony.
Pandora leaps out, and I lock the doors, sealing the room off.
I leap off the balcony onto Pandora.I remember something, and circle Pandora to Libbys' window.
I hover there for a while.
I see her walk out, and I move forward.
She smiles, and laughs, "Not so fast! After what happened last time, you're behind me!"
I laugh, and move back.
Libby climbs on, and we begin to fly towards the forest.
