Somewhere

Kates POV


The sun is burning on my shoulders.
I feel like falling on the ground and never getting up again.
We walk down a small street, the houses are little and there are flowers everywhere. It seems like ages I've seen flowers. They make me feel happy in someway. There's a cat running down the street. We walk a couple of minutes and I gasp. The view is amazing, I always loved the sea. We're sitting on a bank looking at the water. As far as my eyes can see there's blue.
"Louis and I used to play in the water."
I say and I smile. Something I can remember.


*flashback*

"Don't go to deep! You can't swim that well yet!" my mother screams. I'm seven, I can swim. Louis and I are jumping over the waves of the sea.
I'm laughing like never before when Louis falls over his own feet when he jumps. He lays down with his face in the water. When he gets up a bit water comes out of his mouth. He puts his tongue out. "That tastes terrible!" he yells. "Louis let's go swimming." I whisper making sure mummy doesn't hear me. "You're insane, you can't swim." he says and laughs.
"Don't laugh at me! I can do it!"
and I start running into the wild sea.
"Kate you don't have to prove anything to me." Louis yells but I'm on my way to the big blue sea.
I'm not scared of anything exept spiders. I really can handle water.
I start swimming. I hear a man whistle but I ignore him. The waves get bigger and the sea wilder. "Kate come back!"
Louis yells but I ignore him.
He wants to come after me but the man whit the whistle in a red shirt catches him and tells him to go back. Louis doesn't want to go back, he wants to save his little sister. I keep swimming I think I'm doing very well. I'm exhausted from swimming in the big waves and my head gets under water, and again. I feel strong hands around my waist. The man takes me back to the land. I'm so angry with him. Why does everybody want to save me from everything? "Why didn't you listen to me?" my mother yells, I face is scared.
She feels like she's not a good mom, I'm only seven but I know this face, maybe too good.


*Liam's POV*

"Where are we?" she asks
still enjoying the sea.
"I don't know, I'm with you that's all that matters." I say and I mean it.
She smiles and lays her head on my shoulder.
Her blond hair smells like roses.
When we were youngher she wasn't afraid of anything, the sea, hights, loud noices and fast cars, taking a train alone or scary men. She was loud and crazy but I loved her that way.
Now she grew up and I love her even more. I didn't know that was possible. She's still crazy, but she changed, in a good way.I didn't know she could get any better.

I hope I'm good enough for her
but I allready know the anwser she'll give me.

It's hot, we should get a drink.
"I kiss her cheek and take her in my arms. I lift her up while she kisses my forhead. We walk down a small street, searching for a café or a restaurant.
We see a little B&B and walk in.
We eat and drink and get to our room.
"Let's take a walk." I say and she smiles. We get outside and walk to the water again. I smell the sea and get calm. However the sun is allready asleep it's still hot.
"Let's go swimming!" Kate says.
I laugh and we get our clothes off.
She takes my hand and we run to the water. She laughs, just so adorable.
We swim deeper in the water and the sun goes down. My feelings are undiscribable. I feel amazing because I'm with Kate, I feel just so excited because I'm swimming when the sun goes down in a strange town.
But I'm happy because Kate is swimming again, without being scared someone would see her scar. I'm just happy because she trusts me.
She swims to me and hugs me.
I kiss her on the corner of her mouth.
She tastes salty and we kiss like we never did before, it feels so right, so good, too good to be true.
Her wet hair falls on my shoulders and her fingers run through my hair.
While we're kissing I walk out of the water with Kate in my arms.
How are we going to dry?
I put her down and we're sitting an a bank. Me in my boxers, she in her panties. We're both freezing and I start trying to warm her. The sun is gone and we put our clothes back on.
Her hair doesn't smell like roses anymore but like the sea.
We run to the B&B angain and I open the door. She takes a shower, and when I get in the room it smells like roses.
After we both showered we lay on the bed. Her fingers struggled in mine.
We watch an episode of 'friends' before getting to sleep. My arms wrapped around her body.
