Cookies

"This colour is wonderful, you knew Liam loves purple?" I know I should know that purple is Liam's favorite colour, but it hurts to admit I can't remember so I just smile.

"Liam helped me with painting mine too" her eyes are travelling through my room. "I love your bed she says before letting herself fall onto all the pillows.

I chose dark purple pillows that match with my walls. Some of them are white with purple flowers on it.

"When is your birthday?" Astrid questions out of nowhere.

"In four weeks I think, the 25th of april." she nods like she remembers.

I don't want her to get me a present, that's a thing don't like about my birthay, the gifts.

"You can sleep here if you want, then we can go to the party together"

"Oh, okay"

"I'll text Liam."

I smile at my phone before putting it away. "I'll get you some sweatpants and a shirt." I take the clothes out of the closet and give it to her. After we both got changed we're sitting on the couch watching old episodes.

"Lets make some cookies" I say, Astrid's eyes go wide by hearing the word. In the kitchen we take all the ingredients. After 17 minutes we're done and put them in the oven.

"In 30 minutes they're ready."

I tell her. "so long!" she yells like a little kid and we both laugh.

"These are delicious!" Astrid says with her mouth full.

"Uhu." I mumble and we get back to the couch. "I'll pick a movie." I say and walk to the shelf. I choose a comedy and put it into the dvd-player.

We laugh while we're eating, I'm sure we look like crap with our hair into a messy bun. But today I really don't care. "Can I do your make up tomorrow?" she asks with eyes like my grandmother's puppy.

"Sure." I say but I really don't want to look like a clown or something

"Not to heavy!" I say while she's clapping her hands like a little kid who is allowed to watch an adult movie.

"You'll look stunning!" she yells and I'm getting a bit scared. I hope I can wash it off on time when she makes me look like a fool.

After 15 minutes all the cookies are gone, how can she eat so much without getting fat?

The movie ends and Astrid is almost asleep. We get to the bathroom and brush our teeth before getting to bed.

"Can I ask you something?" she questions. She's laying in her back with her heands behind her head staring at the ceiling. "sure." I say, Im a bit scared of what she's going to ask, I hope nothing about my past because I know less about it than everyone else.

"What's going on with Celine and Niall"

She doesn't know about the kiss? well kisses. She doesn't know about Harry and Celine? Why didn't they tell her?

Were they too afraid to tell their sister?

I thought she knew about this.

"How do you mean?" I ask, I'm gonna be careful with what I say.

"They're so diffrent, Celine isn't at our place anymore and Niall looks like someone died. I worry about him."

She doesn't know about the kiss and that Niall broke up with her. Should I tell her? That's not my task but she's asking. "Uhm, yea they have a little problem but they're making up." I say, hoping she doesn't ask any questions.

"What problem?" here we go.

I take a deep breath, her eyes go wide and I can see the worry in her eyes.

"When Celine acted like she was Harry's girlfriend he kissed her. After we gave Harry's pay back she felt sorry and went to talk to him. She kissed him and Niall saw them but she regrets it and swears she doesn't love Harry anymore. Niall broke up with her and they've talked and are sort of making up, Niall needs some time."

Her eyes go wide. "What?"

"It's gonna be allright..."

"How can she do this to Niall?"

"Astrid she's not..."

"I thought she loved him."

"She does, its just..."

"I can't believe it!"

"Astrid calm down and..."

"I have to go!"

"Astrid you're not going anywhere."

"You can't tell me wath to do!"

"Wow, easy I didn't do something wrong!" Liam was right, when she's angry she's so out of control.

"I thought she was my friend!"

"She is As, listen to me..."

"How can you defend her?"

"I'm not defending her I'm just.."

"What's wrong with you Kate?"

"Excuse me? What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing!"

"Nothing? Nothing?" I laugh

"You can't come to my house after shopping to be nice to me and when I anwser your question tell me that there's something wrong with me! Who do you think you are?" The words slips through my lips.

"I'm sorry Kate, I'm just so angry at Celine. She broke my brothers heart."

"Maybe you should listen to her like we all did, even Niall and understand her."

"How can I understand this?"

"She's your friend Astrid!"

"He's my brother."

"He's my friend too, but you should listen to her side of the story before you don't want to be her friend anymore."

"I don't know..."

"What for friend are you when you don't want to listen to her?"

"How can you defend someone who kissed Harry, broke my brother's heart, your friends heart?"

"I'm not defending her Astrid."

It stays quiet for minutes.

"Okay I'll talk to her."

I smile a little. "Thanks."I turn the lights off and we fall asleep.
