Chapter 13: I'll Become The Most Dazzling Precious Treasure

I sprayed the last bit of hairspray into my hair.

Perfect. I thought, looking in the mirror.

I flashed my best smile.

My hair was teased & looked amazing.

I fixed my black leather jacket a bit.

I looked into the mirror once more.

White skinny jeans.

Black Asking Alexandria shirt.

Leather jacket.

Black converse high tops.

I was ready to go.

That we'd escape from the ordinary

"Helloooo." I answered happily.

"Hey, are you ready?" Mason asked

"Yes, where's Nate?" I asked.

"He said he's almost here." Mason asked.

"Okay, I'm gonna go outside." I said & hung up.

I grabbed my black bag with my camera, concert tickets, & phone.

I left my room, closing the door behind me.

Jake was gone.

I ran downstairs, going outside. It was 6:50. The concert starts at 8:00.

Mason was walking across the road to come over.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black Asking Alexandria shirt, black skinny jeans & black vans.

He embraced me into a hug & kissed me passionatly. He pulled away from the kiss, still hugging me.

"Happy birthday darling." he whispered into my ear. It sent chills down my spine.

"Thank you." I said softly, kissing him again.

"WOOT WOOT. LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED." I heard Nate scream loudly as he ran wildly toward us.

"WHO'S DRIVING US?!" he screamed again.

I laughed.

"Kelsey." Mason answered, laughing.

"THE HOT CHICK?" Nate asked.

"YES." I screamed back, hugging him.

"Why are you screaming?" I asked.

"SORRY! I'M JUST EXCITED." he answered. "BY THE WAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. YOU'RE ONE YEAR CLOSER TO DEATH."

"Lovely." I giggled, I messed with his hair.

Kelsey came outside, looking like she had just came from the dead.

We walked over to her car.

"Happy birthday Alice." she said, her voice sounding hoarse.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Okay, let's get this show on the road. I feel like shit." she said while getting into the car.

Nate & Kelsey ended up fighting because Nate was acting too hyper & it was getting on her last nerves.
