Some Where Under The Rainbow

No one is born into this world knowing that they're people waiting around corners wanting to snatch the smile from your face, but they're there.

Lurking in the shadow like a bogeyman with a knife. Wanting to cut your heart out.

Dissect you for a show and try to put you back together all missed matched.

Like a puzzle box with a few pieces missing.

And you didn't choose to be here.

You ran in a race and wasn't expecting to win the grand prize , but you did.

There are a bunch of empty pots under the rainbow.

They were filled with fool's gold but someone still stole it. I can't blame them.

Where we are the colors from the rainbow have drained out.

The puddles slowly drip into the sewage.

We look up and see everyone else soaring above.

We know we will join them one day.

We just don't know when.
