When I first met you.
I didn't know what to think.
You were a blank canvas.
I was just some Kid with crayons ready to ruin you.
Trace in my imagination of who I thought you were.
I'm so glad I didn't.
Letting new people into my life isn't the easiest for me.
I put up more walls then Trump ever will.
My cynism often gets the best of me to the point where I often can't see the best of others.
I'm so glad you proved me wrong.
Made me shut my mouth to bite the bullet and try someone new for once.
I'm still not sure what this feeling is.
Whether its love or appreciation I don't know.
All I know is you make me smile.
And I really needed that.
