Chapter 8

"Nee Killua," Gon jumped onto the small bed next to him. They were staying at the Hyuga residence, instead of the shabby apartment Naruto owned.
The Ninja and the three foreigners came to agreement that Killua and his friends would tell them all they know of Illumi.
"Ya?" Killua looked up from the book he was skimming over.
"Ging has been saying that blacklist Hunters should start with Illumi first, if they want big money," Gon looked concerned, "But that gets in your way, doesn't it."
Killua shrugged his shoulders, "They don't know him like I do, he's probably back at the house right now, or in Yorkshin."
Kurapika knocked on the door, he stood in the doorway with his blue poncho-like sweater on then closed it behind him, "I would help you Killua," he showed his Nen chains, "But my abilities are limited."
"If only he was a Troupe member, but my dad doesn't like the leader, Chrollo."
Gon shivered at the name, their encounters with the Phantom Troupe were never pleasant ones.
"Nee, nee!" Gon jumped to his feet, "We can get the Hunters-- I mean Ninja-- here to help!"
Killua sat up, and opened his mouth just as Kurapika spoke, "It could benefit us all, but how strong are these ninja?" He made eye-contact with the ex-assassin.
"I'll do, whatever..," Killua paused, hearing foot steps, he got up and approached the door leading to the hallway, turning back to Gon, he smirked, "It takes."
"Now, Killua--" Kurapika stopped when the Hokage, and the head of the Hyuga Clan opened the door.
"Hello, we came to tell you that the meeting will be held now, so come with us, if you please," The Hokage allowed himself to go first, followed by the rest.
The whole while, Gon had been trying to think, not being very successful, but managed to figure out that Killua's main goal was to get to his Aniki before the Leaf Ninja would be able to. After all, Gon knew him best.
Kurapika stepped silently, although not as quietly, or quickly, as the Ninja here, or even Killua. Gon just had a bounce in his step, like always.
After a minute of treading down a few long corridors, they arrived at a massive room with nine chairs.
Occupying some was team 7, the rest would be filled with whom have just entered.
Killua sat cross-legged, ignoring the formality of the whole scene. It took nearly an hour for them to agree that Killua and his friends were to leave the village, after the Ninja got Illumi.
Everyone else could feel the intense atmosphere, but apparently not Gon.
"...So then..! Killua bought choco-balls with his prize money! Ahahaha!" He held his stomach, recalling the memory.
Kurapika sighed, "So what exactly are you looking to get from us?"
The Hokage's eyes twinkled, smiling upon the young boy's intelligence.
"We need to find out how great his skills are, first of all," Kakashi droned, he managed to take a sip of his tea without letting his mask fall out of place, puzzling Gon and Killua, and not to mention his students.
"He's scarryyyy," Gon shivered, "His Nen is super strong! Just about as strong as Hisoka's... but not as strong as Killua's ojii-san, or Netero-san."
Sakura gulped, but Naruto feigned bravery, "HA! I can beat them!" Both not really knowing just how powerful Illumi actually was.
"I hardly doubt that," Sasuke frowned.
"To be honest," Killua's eyes turned dark, "I'm going to be the one to kill him."
Gon's face turned to sadness, "Un."
The Hokage let the Hyuga Head leave, "I understand, but he's going to have to come to Konohagakure to face his punishment, that's what we've agreed on."
Kurapika's hand hit the table, as his eyes flashed red, "You've seemed to misunderstand; that's not going to happen. Illumi is powerful, you'd better have a great fighter if you'd like to win against him."
Eyes flickered to Naruto, which didn't go over the Hunters' heads.
Killua narrowed his eyes, "Right, so, Illumi can control corpses, and others, he uses needles infused with his Nen. He's strong, much stronger than you, Hokage-sama."
"How is that possible??" Sakura raised her voice, clearly anxious.
"Physically speaking," Kurapika spoke, which peaked Kakashi's and Sasuke's interest, "Even Killua is stronger."
Heads turned, but the only response Killua gave was, "Family reasons."
"Calling your family to help out isnt a possibility?" Kakashi asked, raising an eyebrow.
Killua choked out a laugh.
Sakura began fidgeting in her spot, while Sasuke's personality went even darker with jealousy. How could someone the same age be better than me? I'm the top. He thought.
Kakashi took note of Naruto's determined look, then rested his eyes back on Killua.
"You don't seem to understand, Kakashi-sensei," Killua spoke with bitterness, "The family business is made up of assassinations, they literally do anything for money. But one thing they won't do is kill their own."
Kurapika scoffed at his memories of the Zoldyck Family, "Unless you agree to be the Heir, you have no choice."
Gon looked frustrated, "He has no choice anyways, Kurapika."
Everyone sat in silence.
No one spoke, but only dwelled in their own thoughts.
"What if!" Naruto jumped to his feet, excited, "We fight together, and get that guy!"
Kakashi rolled his eyes but the Hokage was the one to speak, "Yes, that's exactly what's going to happen."
Killua's eyes widened, but then he rolled them, blushing slightly, "Suit yourself, but it's not my fault if you get killed."
Gon chuckled while Kurapika smirked playfully, they both knew that he was happy about having team 7 tag along, even if he wasn't thrilled about hunting down Illumi for who knows how long.

I dunno, but every time I write "Zoldyck Family", I literally hear it like how they sing it in the Musical.... xD

In the HxH manga, things are progressing further than the anime by this point, I can't say much, but Killua and Gon have gone their separate ways T^T
BUT Kurapika and Leorio have reunited! Woot!
Oh! And did you know that Kushina (Naruto's mum, if you must know) only survived the extraction of the Kyuubi... because of her fantastic Uzumaki stamina! Also because of how much chakra the Uzumakis have! It's said that Boruto is a prodigy! I'm thinking that's because Hinata's from the Hyuga Clan and Naruto's an Uzumaki... so two big clans right there in one child. Anyone else get nostalgia from watching Boruto the movie???? When Boruto finally thinks, "What has my dad been through to get to this point?"
IF ONLY YOU KNEW, BORUTO.
