The years passed like a good movie. Toby came back to live with them full time after six months. He felt so much better than he used to. So much more real. He still had dark days but there was always someone in the family that would cheer him up.

More often than not it was Elliot. He had turned into the joker of the family. He was extremely quick witted and with a mind like a sponge always seemed older than he actually was. He fit into the family like a missing puzzle piece.

Over the next fifteen years there would be two broken arms (both were Elliot, not at the same time of course but that was a story for another time), a leg injury (that was Toby, also a very long story) and a bus crash. Jessica was involved in the bus crash and it was the closest that the family ever got to devastation again. She came out of it with just a bad concussion.

They would attend over five hundred races, twenty recitals and three graduations. Each event being as special as the last. Toby usually ended up exhibiting art at the end of the year in school, Elliot would play piano in multiple concert settings and Jessica would run like there was no tomorrow. Medals and trophies became as common as candy bars around their house.

All three kids graduated as head boys and girl. That meant they would have to speak at their graduations. And they did with pride and excellence. Scott and Alex cried every time, as expected.

Jessica was the first to move out, at the age of 18. She went to university in Florida where she studied athletics. She competed in the Olympics at the age of 20, running the 100 metre sprint and the 200 metre hurdles. She won bronze in both races. 4 years later she competed in the 100 metre sprint, winning gold for her country.

Two years later she hung up her spikes and joined the army. She spent the next twenty years fighting for her country on the frontline. She witnessed shootings and murders but loved her job even so.

She helped raise thousands for charity when running seven marathons in seven days in Afghanistan. She did this three years running. Her best friends by her side. It was the most rewarding thing she had ever done in her life, helping people.

She married a man named Joshua, who was also in the army. They had three children, Matt, Sarah and Ella. Finally she wasn't outnumbered anymore.

She remained best friends with Caleb who joined the army as soon as they left school and was her influence to join too. They were inseparable for their entire lives. Caleb married Joe and they had two sons together. Jessica was their godmother.

Toby went on to become a mental health specialist. He used art as a form of therapy, helping kids who needed it. They adored him, trusting him like a friend. He won multiple awards in his line of work and became the most requested mental health specialist in the country. He was requested to travel a lot, giving speeches about his work. He helped raise awareness for teen suicide which was still at a high rate, even this far down the line.

He married Ally, the girl that he had met when in hospital. They had become close friends and later got into a relationship, marrying at the age of twenty three. They had two kids, twins. Ben and Sam. They also had a dog, which Toby had soon learned was nothing to be afraid of, named Bob. They lived most of their lives out in San Fransisco.

Elliot was the last to leave, obviously. He went on to go to university in the Royal Academy of Music in the UK. He majored in classical music and later film scores. This would lead him on to doing small gigs here and there, struggling to keep his head above water with finances. He would often run back to his dad's who were always there to give him money when he needed it, as well as a hug.

He eventually wrote the music for the highest grossing movie of 2050. He won an Oscar for best original score, later going on to win more awards for several more movie scores. As well as the music for a musical. He paid back every last penny of money that he had borrowed from his parents.
