I slowly wheeled myself around, trying to make as much time as I could before I met their faces as my hands trembled and my heart could be heard in the back of my ears. As I suspected no one acknowledged my existence but instead went straight to the food.

"Seriously Jake! My favorite!" The boy, who I remembered was Seth, smiled to Jacob.

"They were a bugger to make," Jacob answered, taking the credit. I wish I could say that I didn't mind, as it was expected, but knowing that I put all of my efforts into those damn deserts, I would have liked some consideration.

I should have stopped being so silly!

"Why don't we start with...Mmm" The large guy, Sam, if I remembered correctly, was looking at the large selection of alcohol, making me uneasy as my shoulders tensed.

That night.

That was because of alcohol.

"Bourbon? Well, that's mine. Whatcha havin' everyone?" Sam cheered, excited it seemed. A round of calls followed as they said their preferences in alcohol, while I stayed silent, knowing I wasn't included in 'everyone'.

When the guys and Leah were seated around the dining table, discussion began, ranging from sports to what happened at school. I simply sat on the breakfast bar stool, elbows on the island's countertop, as Jacob had ordered me to stay in the room.

I wished I could disappear as I felt completely invisible.

It wouldn't matter if I was to just go

"So, whore?" I knew that someone was calling me and raised my head as if it was a normal reaction. When I tucked my hair behind my ear, opening the curtain, I saw all of them looking at me, some glaring and some looking at me as if I was a piece of shit. "Is it true that some of the Addams family have extra talents?" I knew Embry, I believed his name to be, was talking about the Cullens, who else? My guard rose and shielded them off as I pretended confusion.

"What do you mean 'talents'?" I asked quietly, shocked that I was being talked to.

"In legends, it is said that a vamp can have talents, like lasers out the eyes," Leah intervened. She actually talked to me?

I didn't hesitate to keep their secret, even if it wasn't about them not being human, I knew that they wouldn't want me to just spill all of their secrets to their enemies.

"No, it's not. They're just normal," I replied weakly, no blush or stutter appeared to be evidence of my lying.

"Normal," Quil scoffed before raising his beer bottle to his mouth and taking a swig.

"Well, at least they're gone. I swear if they stuck their venom in us, they'd be done for," Seth said absentmindedly, gaining a warning look from Leah across the table.

I opened my mouth before I thought.

"What happens if they stuck their venom in you?" I squirmed slightly as they all looked at me with disbelief. I was sure one of them were going to say 'what gave you the right to talk, bitch?', but they didn't. Surprisingly.

"Their venom's poison to us," Sam answered, then turned around, back to the pack.

"Suppose we have to give it to Isabella for shooing them off," Leah laughed as I felt my heart absorb an acid that burned its way through my veins.

Please don't, no more!

"Yep, all because she showed them who she was, a whore. Suppose she practiced since she was a kid for her to become so good at it. Her mom must have been a great inspiration," Jacob murmured while I turned my back to the pack and shut my eyes.
