"Robin, I'm home." I say as I drop my purse on the coffee table in the living room.
"How was work?" Robin says and I sigh.
"I wasn't at work Robin. Can we talk?" I ask him and he nods as he sits down next to me.
"Where were you?" He asks and I look down at my lap.
"I went to get an abortion because I'm pregnant." I say with a tears in my eyes.
"Is that why you asked me about kids the other day?" He asks and I sadly nod.
"Yes, you said you weren't ready so I was just going to get rid of it." I say as I cry.
"Regina, it's not an it. It's our baby. I know this is fast but Regina we're going to have a baby! I know you want a baby." Robin says as he lifts my head.
"Yes, I want a baby but you're not ready and I can't do it without you." I say and Robin wipes my tears.
"You have me Regina. Baby or no baby I'm here for you Regina." He says and I sniffle. "The real question is do you even want the baby?"
"Yes, of course I want the baby." I say and my hand goes over my stomach in a protective gesture. Robin puts his hand on top of mine.
"Good, because I want this baby too." Robin says before he kisses me. "I'll go get you a tissue." Robin says and then he leaves.
"I'm sorry I tried to get rid of you." I say as I rub my stomach. "Mommy loves you, I promise. I won't let anyone hurt you and I'll protect you no matter what."
