I normally wouldn't write anything like this but this one shot is for onceuponatimefreak . She loves Rapunzel and requested for this EvilBae high school AU. I hope you love this! I'm pretty sure their ship name isn't EvilBae but it sounds cool.

"Regina, can we meet after school today?" Neal whispers to her in the middle of their history class.

"I can't today. I have to go visit my Dad." Regina whispers back as she plays with her long black hair.

"Can't you do it another day?" Neal asks as he holds her hand.

"I always visit him on Fridays and you know this. If I go later Mother will catch me and who knows what she'll do." Regina whispers and Neal nods.

"I don't like the way she's treating you." Neal says and Regina gives him a weak smile.

"I know you don't but I'm fine." Regina says and Neal nods.

"Have fun at your father's shop." Neal says and Regina nods.

"I will and then after I'll come back here and meet you in the courtyard." Regina says and Neal smiles.

"God, I love you." Neal says as he places a kiss on her knuckles.

"Are you sure it's not just the hair?" Regina says as she flips her long hair over her shoulder.

"Partially." Neal says with a small smile.

"Are you two done talking back there?" Mrs.French yells.

"Sorry." Regina says as she blushes and hides behind her hair.

Regina doesn't pay any attention to the lesson on World War II. She just hums to herself as she tries to braid her long hair. Regina's hair was always a big part of her. It was the thing that made her special and she loved it. She would be lost without it and she can't imagine a life without it.

The final bell rings and Regina dashes out the classroom. She runs out the school and towards her father's pawn shop. She opens the door and hears the usual annoying bell. She drops her bag on the floor and sits on the stool in front of the counter.

"Daddy!" Regina yells as she hits the bell.

"Yes, sweetheart." Her father says as he wobbles over to the counter.

"Belle yelled at me today and I was so embarrassed." Regina says as she fiddles with her hair.

"Were you talking when she yelled at you?" Mr.Gold says and Regina blushes.

"Maybe, but that's not the point." She says trying to back up her side of the story.

"Were you also talking to your secret boyfriend?" Gold asks and Regina turns as red as a tomato.

"It was just a quick conversation." She says trying to defend herself.

"I want to meet him princess. You keep telling me about him but I've never seen him." Gold says and Regina frowns.
