Love Is Blind

Disclaimer: This one-shot is inspired by the Netflix show Love Is Blind. The concept doesn't belong to me and neither do the characters who are from Once Upon A Time. Basically the show is about people who communicate with each other without seeing them and most of these relationships end with proposals. I recommend watching the show it's amazing.

Regina walked down the long hallway with her journal in hand. She had a smile on her face knowing that she was about to go on her fifth date with Robin. They've been hitting it off lately and she can honestly say this will be the highlight of her day. She turned the knob of the sixth pod and walked inside with a soft sigh. It was still quiet on the other side so she just made herself comfortable on the sofa, pulling the blanket on top of her lap.

She heard the door in the other room open before a deep voice said, "Hello, gorgeous. How has milady's day been so far?"

"Hi, Robin. I can't believe that you're my last date of the day. This is all so exhausting to me," Regina said as she opened up to the section in her journal that she dedicated to Robin.

Regina remembers when she first signed up for this experiment on a whim. She was attracted to the concept of dating without seeing the person behind the personality. In her opinion, love was all about the connection that she shared with someone instead of what they looked like. She's been in too many relationships where the men were attractive but had toxic personalities. Looks aren't everything in the relationship and this experiment would prove it, granted she walked out of here with the love of her life.

"The process is draining for sure. I just had a date with Zelena and I don't think I can go on another one with her. Is she that annoying in person?" Robin asked which made Regina burst out into a laugh.

"I have a fun fact for you but I'm not sure you would believe me."

"How could a gorgeous woman like yourself lie to me?" He said back which made her laugh and roll her eyes a little.

"To answer your question, yes Zelena is annoying but I could be biassed since she is my sister."

There was a soft clank before the room across from her became silent. Regina could have sworn that she heard Robin cursing which made her chuckle to herself. "Well, lovely, you just made me spill my whiskey on myself. I'm glad you can't see me it looks like I pissed myself."

"I'm sure it's not that bad," she tried to say without laughing but she couldn't. "Okay, maybe it is bad. I'll forget about this moment. Tell me about your other dates. Do you think you've found a wife in here?"

"I don't like to kiss and tell but there's this one woman whose an absolute dream. There is one thing that worries me about her," his smooth voice says which has Regina wondering who he's talking about.

"Go on, spit it out. What's holding you back from her?"

"Well, in real life I'm somewhat of a klutz. I spilled whiskey on myself and all she can do is laugh that beautiful laugh at me. I'm worried she won't accept my proposal if I'm such a klutz."

Regina's cheeks turned red and she laughed as she bit her lip. "I know you can't tell since there's a wall separating us but I'm blushing so hard. I hope you know that you're absolutely insane."

"Well, clearly I'm doing something right. I've been making you laugh like crazy on every date we had and might I say I do love to make you laugh."

"Thank you, Robin. I appreciate the time that we have together but what makes you so sure that you would want to marry me?"

"Ah, that's a loaded question. When me and the gents go back to our headquarters you're a name that I hear often. So many guys want to go after you and propose but I don't think any of them are good enough for you. You deserve someone who is going to be with you through thick and thin. Someone who will wear matching outfits with you just because. Your personality is everything that I look for in a partner, a wife. You're just so kind and you have a heart of gold and-"
