It all happened so fast in her mind. One week she was having the time of her life with her little boy Henry and the next he was missing and brought home a blonde woman with him. It was still something that didn't register in her mind. One day her handsome little boy was begging for seconds of her famous lasagna and then he wouldn't even meet her at Granny's for breakfast anymore. Her life was feeling lonely and she couldn't remember the last time she's felt like this before she casted this curse. Her Henry wasn't hers anymore, she just wanted him back. This was all the Savior's fault.

Emma Swan was the bane of her existence.

Regina was in her car with the delicately tinted windows as she watched the savior walk across the street and into the sheriff's office. She started her car and started to drive away from the scene. Today she would have to make a deal with herself to get her little boy back. It was proving harder and harder that she couldn't completely rid herself of the nuisance that is Ms.Swan. Henry would know that she was really a villain if Emma went missing. She would simply have to make sure that Emma would see her way.

The drive back to her office was nice and smooth as she always made sure Storybrooke had the budget to keep the roads pothole free. Her monogrammed reserved spot was just in her view when she realized today was the day there was construction happening in the parking lot. With a sigh she followed the rest of the morning rush crowd to try to find a parking spot.

After ten minutes, the perfect one was hers and it made her morning off to the right start. When she turned off her car she noticed a man standing in front of the town hall passing out papers to anyone who walked by. It was a rule in her town that no one was allowed to be soliciting people on the town hall property. It brought a smile to her face to start her day off yelling at someone who deserved it.

Her heels clicked as she walked against the pavement in confidence. Her steps building up momentum as she went into battle. The closer she got the more she was able to eye up the victim in front of her. He was fairly tall, built nicely in eyes, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a rugged scruff on his chin. He was perfect in every way. A perfect person to tear down.

"Good morning Madam Mayor." The words left his mouth in a British accent. Regina knew that he must have been from somewhere in Sherwood. Before she could open her mouth he continued as he handed her a piece of paper. "Have you seen my son, Roland?"

"Oh," is all she could sputter out as she took the piece of paper from his hands.

The piece of paper had a picture of a little boy on it. He was no older than 5 and had the curliest hair she has every seen. He was smiling brightly and had cute little dimples on his face. She ended up frowning as she stared at the picture further. It reminded her of the photos she had posted when Henry had gone missing. To be a parent missing your child is the hardest thing she has ever felt.

"No, I'm so sorry I haven't seen him. Have you talked to the sheriff about finding him? Ms.Swan is many things but she can find him I'm sure."

The softness of her own voice surprised her when she looked at him differently. He looked just like she did when Henry was missing, a desperate parent. She tried to swallow down the feelings of sympathy that she had to a reasonable amount as she put the flyer in her purse.

"No, I haven't met her yet. I'll do that soon. Thank you for your help."

"I promise, you'll find him soon. I know how you're feeling," she said softly before she started to walk away.

She felt a warm hand on her wrist turn her around. She met him blue eyes to brown eyes and she held her breath. The nervousness hit in the pit of her stomach before any words could leave her mouth. He was handsome and the smell of pine was wafting to her nose. It made her feel warm and fuzzy.
