70th one shot!!! Okay so when I reach 100 one shots that one will obviously be special but I'll be taking a break to work on my current books and then I'll come back and do another 100 one shots to reach the 200 chapter limit on Wattpad. And if I'm still writing at that time I'll start another one shot book. Okay, I'll stop rambling. DimplesQueen!!

Also, this one shot is before Regina adopted Henry and before she met the little shit named Owen.

It was an average day for Regina like most days in Storybrooke. The curse was still intact and she was still alone. She was called into the office today because they found a lost boy in the woods. Regina sighed as she walked into town hall. Her receptionist told her that the boy was waiting in her office. When Regina walked into her office she saw the curly haired boy laying on her white couch. He looked sad and Regina frowned as she sat next to him.

"Hello, I'm the mayor of this town. Can you tell me your name sweetie?" Regina asked softly and the boy looked at her as he sat up.

"Roland and I'm five." He said quietly.

"It's nice to meet you Roland. My name is Regina. Can you tell me why you're here?" Regina asked as she rubbed his back.

"I was lost in the woods. I can't find Papa!" He said as he started to cry and Regina frowned.

Regina wasn't really a person who could comfort someone. She went through her whole life without someone who would comfort her and she didn't know the first thing about love. She just sat there awkwardly and wrapped her arms around the little boy in an attempt to calm him down. Roland had other plans and climbed into the Mayor's lap and buried his curly head in her shoulder.

"Don't worry Roland. I'll help you find your papa." Regina said as she ran her hands through his wild hair. "In the meantime we have to find someone to take care of you buddy."

"C-Can I stay with you?" Roland asked with his puppy dog eyes.

"Uh, I really don't know how to take care of children. Maybe you can stay with me for a day or two." Regina said smiling a little.

She knew she couldn't resist him. He was such a little and adorable child. Regina always wanted a child but her life didn't work out that way for her. She was in a loveless marriage and she never loved anyone else besides Daniel who she'd want to have kids with.

"Yay! I can stay with Gina!" Roland yelled happily as he hugged her tightly.

Regina couldn't help but to smile at the small boy. She told her assistant that she was the taking the rest of the day off to spend time with Roland. They walked out of her office and straight to a few stores to get him some clothes and toys that he needed to stay at her house. Regina was a bit too happy about spending her money on the little boy. She practically bought the whole children's store for him.

"Gina?" Roland asked as he tugged on her dress. Regina grabbed the shopping bags before bending down to his level.

"Yes, Roland?" Regina asked him smiling.

"I'm hungry. Can we go eat?" Roland asked and Regina chuckled as she picked him up.

"Oh, yes we can. I will get you the finest burger at Granny's! How does that sound?" I asked him smiling and he giggled.

"Let's go Gina!" Roland yelled and Regina smiled.

It was odd holding a child but Regina loved having someone who depended on her. She wishes that her life turned out different and that she was given a chance to have a child of her own. She frowned slightly as she placed the bags in the trunk of her car. She put Roland in the backseat and buckled him into the carseat she bought for him. She got in the car and drove to Granny's, her mind heavy in thought.

Walking into Granny's with a child in her arms made Regina smile. Although she received ugly stares and glares she was happy to be with Roland. Ruby came up to them and took their order and all Regina wanted to do was roll up a newspaper and hit Ruby on the nose with it.

"Why is everyone staring at us, Gina?" Roland asked as he looked around the diner.

"They really don't like me and they think I'm going to hurt you." Regina said sadly and Roland frowned.

"You wouldn't hurt me. Mama's don't hurt their children." Roland said innocently and Regina's heart ached.

Fuck. Regina thought as she heard his soft words. He saw her as a mother figure and that just brought her to tears that she immediately wiped off her cheeks. It didn't go unnoticed by Roland. He slid out of his side of the booth and sat next to Regina. He held her hand and smiled as he kissed her cheek.

"I love you, Gina!" Roland declared and Regina smiled as she looked down at him.

"I love you too, Roland." Regina said smiling as she pulled the little boy onto her lap.

Regina didn't get much time to eat her lunch since Roland needed so much help with eating his burger. Granny smiled from her spot behind the counter as she saw the mayor taking care of the young boy who resembles her a bit. Granny smirked to herself and slipped into the kitchen where she would tell the town gossip and drunk, Leroy, that the mayor had a son that she kept captive until now.

Regina left money on the table and drove Roland to her home. She showed him around a bit before they started to play. They ran all throughout the house giggling as they played. Soon enough they ended up on the couch and Roland was cuddling with her. He was in her arms with his head laid against her heart that soothed him to a deep slumber.

"Have sweet dreams baby boy." Regina whispered as she kissed his head.

Regina was about to join Roland in a nap until she heard a knocking at the door. She struggled for a bit to get Roland off of her since he was clinging for dear life onto her. Eventually she got him situated on the couch and draped a blanket over his shoulders. She pulled at her dress to free it of wrinkles and went to open the door.

To her surprise a handsome man was standing in front of her. He was wearing a green plaid flannel that rolled up to his elbows and a pair of dark jeans. There was a quiver full of bows slung across his back and bow in hand. Regina slowly looked up and saw his beautiful blue eyes staring at her. She was a bit distracted from them until she saw his smile form and dimples formed on his cheeks.

"Uh, who are you?" Regina asked after she cleared her head of his handsome appearance.

"My name is Robin Locksley and I believe you have my son." Robin said holding out his hand for her to shake.

Regina's eyes drifted down to his hand and she saw the tattoo on his arm. The lion tattoo that belonged to her soulmate. A tear fell out her eyes as she looked back up at his blue eyes. He smiled at her and she was just a little bit overwhelmed and ended up fainting in his strong arms.

And in that moment all she wanted to do was kiss him and that's what she did as she looked up into his handsome blue eyes.
