A/N: Criminal/Sci-Fi AU, sort of? I don't know. Have fun.

Mika set his cup of tea down, picking up the tablet laying out before him. He hummed a little tune as he skimmed through the files until picking the one that caught his attention.

It was simply labeled 'Threat', which Mika knew meant that whoever it contained was a real threat to his boss's 'business'. Mika tapped it, and if he hadn't already put his tea down, he would've dropped it.

'Mika, are you really leaving me?' The boy's distraught voice came back to him now. He'd noticed the burning green under the hoodie. A bit of black hair peeked out from the brim of the hood. The boy's mouth is curled into an unsettling smile. His eyes were full of passion. Passion for what, Mika didn't know. Mika had more pressing questions to be asking.

Why the hell was Yuuichirou Hyakuya labeled as 'Threat'.

The man grinned, pleased at the easy submission of the thugs before him. Low level, not even worthy of his power. He tilted his head, listening as the rain pounded on the metal roof above him. One of the thugs, probably the leader of the group, struggled to rise up. As quick as the lightning stroke outside, the man was in front of him.

"Sleep." He muttered, a new look growing on his face. Excitement. He could hear the footsteps of a girl, the one he was here for. She was the one his superior's had told him to find and bring to them.

The rusty metal door of the warehouse was pushed open, revealing a small girl of about 15, yellow-blonde hair sticking to her skin. She was drenched from the rain. She didn't gasp when she saw him. She didn't try to run away. Instead, she walked forward.

"Mitsuba Sanguu?" He asked, voice lilting. She shivered at the sound of her name.

"King?" She guessed. His smirk grew wider.

"Are you a fan?" He guessed.

"Of course. Every Seraph holder is a fan of yours, my King." She answered, her tone measured.

"They have Called you." He informs. She gives a small smile.

"It was only a matter of time." They are gone within seconds, leaving nothing behind of their meeting or their existence. The next morning, she is nowhere to be found.

"Baka-Yuu. Get up. Guren's asked for your presence." Yuu growls.

"Leave me alone for goddamn once, will you?" Kimizuki smirks.

"No, my King. As a Seraph holder and member of the Moon Demons, I am forced to never let you have a moment of peace until you die." Kimizuki reminds him.

"Today is the day no one, and I mean no one, can touch me." He snaps.

"What the fuck happened to mess with you so badly when you were a kid?" Kimizuki responds, already having given up. Even Guren knows that Yuu is uncontrollable today.

"He left me. He didn't come back. And then he died." Is all Yuu answered as Kimizuki lets himself out. It's been the same answer for the past three years he's known Yuu. He sighs in response, gently closing the door behind him. It doesn't stop him from hearing the anguished howl that Yuu lets out once he's two blocks away.

"M-1 this is L-4." The voice pauses as Mika glances over at the small device in front of him. It's settled just next to the long cylindrical object that just barely shows itself in the late evening sun.

"Go ahead, L-4." Mika responds with obvious disinterest.

"Target reaching Vortex in 5" A pause

"4" Mika takes a breath
