After I finished everyone applauded.

"That was great." He said. "You have exceeded my expectations."

"Thank you sir."

"I'd like to offer you the spot for the tour. You will get paid and."

"Will I meet her?" I asked.

"Most likely."

"Wow. That's so exciting!" I said and shook his hand. "Thank you."

"So does this mean you'll do it?"

"Yes sir." I said. Wow. I'm doing this. I need to tell Izzy.

The day went on and I met Izzy at the lockers.

"Hello." He said.

"Hi."
I got on my toes and kissed him on the cheek.
We held hands as we walked to the cafeteria.

"So. What's been happening?" He asked.

"Beyoncè's tour manager showed up in the band room."

"That's new."

"And ms Daniels pulled me away so we could talk. He basically said that he wanted to offer me a job on the tour." I said and waited for Izzy to be excited.

"Wow. You're not going are you?" He said.

"Of course I'm going. How could I pass that up?"

"You're gonna be gone for months."

"It's not like I won't talk to you everyday."

"I can't believe that you're choosing this over us." He let my hand go.

"Are you actually mad at me?" I asked.

"I'm certainly not happy."

"Izzy. This is what I wanna do. A job where all I have to do is what I love. And for Beyoncè! My favorite singer since birth. I can't believe that you're not supporting me."

"You're leaving me. And you expect me to be all la di da happy go lucky?"
I don't know why but when he said you're leaving me. That hurt a lot.

"And I'm saying that I'm still gonna talk to you everyday!"

He shook his head and walked away. I sighed and sat next to my percussion friends.

"So we heard about your accomplishment." Lenny said.

"And we wanted to get you something from the heart."

I smiled when drea pulled out a box. I opened it and it was a pair of sticks signed by josh dun, Dave grohl, Ringo Starr, Sheila E, and Cindy Blackman.

"GUYS!" I said and took the sticks. I hugged everyone at the table.
"You guys are too good to me."

"When one of us succeeds" Drea started.

"We all succeed." We all said together and started laughing.
I made eye contact with Izzy and he looked away first. My smile faltered and the day went on.
