TWENTY ONE

Tana's pov

Mike teddy and I met up with sam's parents and tom.

"Hey Tana. Hi mike. Hello.."

"Hi crystal. This is teddy." Mike said.

"Hi crystal." I said and teddy didn't look up.

"Where'd you find her?"

"Samantha saved my life." Teddy said.
Sam's family look confusedly at her. "I was about to jump in front of a truck and she pulled me back into her arms. You'll probably hear about it on some news outlet because she's famous." Her voice was monotone and she showed no emotion.

This girl is a little scary.

"Excuse me."
I turned around.
"Hey I'm Alecia tsui. I'm an agent from def jam. My representatives and I would love to have Sam come into the family."

"Wait. So she can leave her old contract and drop her current manager?" I asked.

"Yes."

"What're the restrictions?"

"Nothing out of the ordinary. Don't leak anything without permission. Normal stuff."

"So she can date anyone she wants?"

"Yes." She looked confused.

"Long story. She's in."

"Are you sure you don't wanna talk to her about this?" Rodney asked me.

"Trust me. She's gonna be overjoyed. You can give me the paperwork and I'll get it to her."

"I'm aware her tour starts today also so we'll get all of that taken care of."

"Alright sounds good. Thanks."

"Thank you." She smiled at gave me the contract. I read over it and made sure she wasn't lying to me.

I wanna ask her if I can fire Rudy.

"Samantha Manchester."
We jumped up and cheered as she walked across the stage.
Teddy looked up and started clapping.

"You okay?" I heard tom ask her.

"I..I don't know." She said and she looked back down.

After the ceremony we had to leave to get ready for the show.
Sam walked out and teddy hugged her.

"Hi." My girlfriend said.

"Hi." Teddy replied and we went to the venue.

Sam's pov

We all walked in and three beautiful girls were doing sound check.
They are really talented.

"Woah woah. I've spotted a Samantha Manchester I have." Charlie said doing a British accent.
Hah. Get it. Cause my last name. Haha. Yeaaaah..

I waved at her and walked up to the stage. Teddy was on my back because hugging and walking is difficult.

"Hello ladies." I said and smiled.

"Hiya!" Mia said.
"Yo." Nicole said.
"Ello."

"Babe. Don't be obnoxious." Nicole said to her girlfriend.

"It's okay. I don't mind." I chuckled. "Oh yeah. This is teddy."

"Hi teddy!" They all said.

"She's gonna be on tour with us if that's okay."

"That's completely fine." Nicole said. "Kids go play. The grown ups are talking."
Mia and Charlie rolled their eyes and walked away.

I chuckled and teddy got down.
"You gonna be okay with Mike and Tana?"
She nodded.
"Alright."
She hugged me and walked down.

Nicole and I sat on the edge of the stage.

"Is it scary?"

"Touring?"
I nodded.
"Not in the slightest."

"Really?"

"Well think about it like this. You're doing what you love for people who love you. If people paid to hate on you who comes out on top?"

"That makes a lot of sense."

"I'm here to be wise. I've had the most life experience out of all five of us."

"That is true. You're what 21 now?"

"Indeed. So if you need any advice on life or wellbeing I'm your gal. We all have our roles in the band. Like if you need fashion advice or family stuff you'd go to Mia and if you need someone to vent to or jut go to clear your mind with you'd go to Charlie."

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind."

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Sure."

"Mentally and physically?"

"Well. I could be doing a lot better mentally but I'm physically fine."
She nodded.

"If you ever need anything just come to us. We're family now."

"Thanks Nicole."

"Call me Nicky."

"Alright Nicky. You can call me Sammy."

"You've got yourself a deal Sammy."
I stood and helped her up.

Nicole's really cool. I feel really comfortable around her. I think.

We hugged and I walked over to Charlie.

"Hi." I said.

"Hey there." She smiled at me. "You wanna sit?"

"Why not?"
We sat down.
"So you like Oakland?"

"I do."

"I should show you around. You've been in lala land since you moved to the states."

"True statement. I'd love that touring opportunity."

"How have you been?"

"Things have never been better actually. The band is doing well. My mom and brother are good. My relationship is healthy and Mia has just come out as demisexual. I'm happy. It's good. How about yourself?"

"I don't wanna throw a bunch of shit on you."

"Hey no. Don't say that. Let me have it."

"Are you sure?"

"If I didn't wanna hear the extent of the answer that will soon come why even ask the question? Tell me how you've been."

"Okay." I took a deep breath and told her everything that happened. I don't know why I literally told her every waking thing but I did.
"I'm recovering from a nervous breakdown which is why I requested separate busses. And now that I have teddy it will be even more necessary."

"I can say I've never heard a story like yours Sam." She said. "I'm glad that you deemed me worthy enough to tell me so much. And if you need to take a break during a show don't hesitate to tell us."

"Really?"
She nodded.

"We hardly know each other but we know you enough to care about you."

"Thank you Charlie. I really needed this."

"Anytime." She smiled again and we hugged.

I walked over to see my girlfriend and Mia talking. I smiled at them and walked over.

"Oh hey babe." Tana said and kissed me.

"Aw. You two are adorable."

"Thanks." I said and smiled.
I waited until they finished their conversation and I started.
