~* Venus's POV *~

As I walked back to the manor, heavy rain started to fall from the sky. I sighed in annoyance and looked around, trying to find shelter. There wasn't any buildings in sight, only large trees scattered along the pathway.

I ran under one of the trees, shivering. My clothes were completely drenched, my glasses a little foggy. Glancing up at the rainy sky, I knew I was going to be here a while.

Thunder roared. I flinched from the sound, fear rising in me. Lightning bolted in the air with a mighty crackle. I screamed and buried my face in my hands, taking deep breathes. I've always had a fear for storms. My family was murdered on a weather like this. I whimpered as I heard the storm release another round of thunder.

This reminded me of the time I had hallucinated and had mistaken Ciel for the demon who had murdered my family. I shook my head, trying to erase these thoughts and tried to calm myself down. I could feel myself start to shake like a leaf, from fear and from being drenched in cold rain.

A few minutes later, the sound of horses galloping and something approaching reached my ears. I didn't dare to raise my head though, closing my eyes tightly, hoping the people would just go away. My heart sank when it came to a stop near me. What do these people want?

"Venus!!"

I raised my head in surprise, relief washing over me from hearing that voice, "Ciel?"

He practically jumped out of the carriage, not caring about the rain much to Sebastian's displeasure. The Earl rushed over to my trembling body, gazing at me with his concerned filled eye.

"Are you alright?" he questioned. He took off his blue tail coat, placing it over my shoulders. I tugged on the fine material, feeling the warmth of it. It smelt of him. I blushed, realizing my embarrassing thoughts.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

Ciel looked nervous as he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, stuttering, "Uhh.. w-we were just-"

"The young master knew of your fear of storms and quite hastily ordered me to find you," Sebastian smiled.

The Earl's face became red, "I d-did not!"

"Oh, my. I completely forgot that he ordered me not to tell you that. My apologies," the butler bowed, a playful smirk dancing on his lips.

"Shut up, Sebastian! You're just making it worse," Ciel commanded, embarrassment written all over his face.

I couldn't help the smile that tugged on my lips, a little warm feeling buzzing in my stomach, knowing that the Earl was worried about me. A breeze brushed by us, making me shiver and tug the blazer closer. Noticing this, the concern deepened in his eyes.

"Let's get out of the rain?"

I nodded gratefully, "Yes, please."

As the Earl and the butler turned around to walk away, I struggled to stand. My legs were too shaky to comply with my mind so I pathetically kneeled on the ground, a frown claiming my face. Why are they not working? Stupid fear of storms.

A yelp escaped my lips as I was picked up. Ciel's arms held me up and wrapped around me, his warmth engulfing my shivering body. My face became unbelievably red in embarrassment from his sudden actions.

"W-What are you doing?"

He pompously smirked, "It seemed like you needed help."

I rolled my eyes, not meeting his gaze as he carried me to the carriage, "What a gentleman."
