~* Venus's POV *~

I stared at Ciel with wide eyes. I was hallucinating? The angry tears stopped flowing from my eyes as we continued to gaze at each other, not knowing what to do.

"Venus, you're glasses," the Earl croaked, my hands still tightly wrapped around his neck.

I retracted my hands away from him before they flew to my face. I gasped quietly as I found out that my glasses had fallen off. Angel would appear in about five seconds making me act quickly.

I jumped off Ciel and straightened myself up. I looked downwards to see my glasses beside Ciel's head. He was still sprawled out on the floor and was struggling to get up.

I threw myself at him, straddling him for a moment making his eyes go wide. I reached over beside his head to get my glasses but froze as I felt my conscience be pushed back, replacing me with another. It was too late. I wasn't quick enough. My time is up.

~* Ciel's POV *~

Venus practically lunged towards me as I struggled to get up. I froze as she leaned over, her chest over my face, reaching for something beside my head. I blushed when I saw her purple sleeved shirt shift downwards, exposing more skin.

She suddenly froze and stood perfectly still. I could help but shift uncomfortably because I was still lying in the floor.

"Mmh, well isn't this an interesting position."

Venus's face appeared right in front of mine. My eyes widened as a mischievous smile formed on her lips. I noticed how her piercing cyan colored eyes had changed to soft blue. I recognized this change. This was no longer Venus. This was 'Angel.'

My cheeks were tainted red as she leaned closer to my face. I've never been so close to a girl before and it was making me slightly nervous.

"You're cute," Angel giggled before placing a kiss on my cheek. She abruptly pulled away before standing over me, holding her hand out for me to take.

Her lips had left a weird feeling in my stomach. It was weird, yet welcoming. I could not describe it but for some reason, I liked it. What is this I'm feeling?

I took her hand before she lifted me up. I tried not to use all my weight since I was heavier than her and didn't want her to topple over. I couldn't help but bring a hand to my cheek from where her lips had touched. It was still flaring red and I desperately tried to conceal my tainted cheeks.

"Venu- I mean Angel," I corrected myself. She turned to me before smiling warmly, "Yes, Ciel?"

I stared at her smile for a moment, wondering how she did it so easily. I have forgotten how to smile and I could tell that hers was honestly sincere. Not fake like the others. It was quite rare these days.

"Can you please bring Venus back?" I asked as politely as possible. Her face crumpled and her eyes saddened. I started to inwardly panic, wondering what I had done wrong.

"You prefer her over me?" She asked sorrowfully. She looked like she was about to cry and I began to stutter, nervously fumbling with my words.

"N-No! It's not that! We just have a case to solve," I stated, reassuring her. Angel's look of sadness was quickly replaced with a grin and I could help but wonder if she was mentally ill. Bipolar, perhaps?

"Venus isn't going to appear for a while," Angel said before stomping on the pair of glasses that were on the floor. The glass completely shattered, scattering across the floor. Curiosity blossomed in my eyes as I wondered why she had done that.
