Chapter 8

When he was finished with his coffee she threw away and he got up and brushed his teeth. He walked towards her and squeezed her butt. She turned around and he put his head on her forehead.She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. He smiled into the kiss and kissed her harder. They laid under the desk and he held her close to him. He played with her hair until the door swung open. He jumped up and sat in his chair trying to wipe the blush off his face. He cleared his throat and looked at the said person. It was a boy with long blond hair and brown eyes.
" Hello? Who are you?" Carter said trying to be professional.
" Derrik. My name is Derrik."
There was a thumping sound and Rocky appeared.
"Derrik? You lying cheating asshole! Get out of here!"
She so as looking at him and getting up. Carter grabbed her and set her down in his lap. He brushed his fingers through her hair as he tried to calm her down he looked at the confused Derrik and patted the seat in front of him. Derrik sat down.
" he's my ex." Rocky said through her teeth.
" I didn't cheat on you though."
" what do you call putting your dick in my so called best friend then huh?"
" it wasn't what it looked like I swear."
" ok then what was it?"
" you weren't pleasuring me so to keep our relationship alive I acted like I loved having sex with you and had sex with your best friend."
" that isn't any better! I wish I could slap you right now!" Rocky said trying to get up again. Carter picked her up and walked towards the door he opened it and locked it from the outside. He sat down and set Rocky down in his lap again.
"Now that wasn't right." Carter said getting up. Rocky walked over to a chair and sat down not saying anything. Carter walked towards Derrik .
"What did you come here for anyway?" Carter said sitting back down again.
" I came here to.. Propose."
He said this and got down on one knee.
" marry me Rocky. I'm sorry for what I did but I can't live without you."
"Then die." Rocky said getting. She tried to walk towards Carter but Derrik grabbed her. He had her in a headlock.
" I won't leave without you." He said walking towards the door. He tried opening the door but it was locked. He looked for an escape but soon realized there was none. Carter walked overt to Derrik and punched him with brass knuckles. He let go off Rocky and Carter grabbed her. He pulled her towards his desk and shoved her under it. He pressed a button and security came in and dragged Derrik away. He helped Rocky up and they ate lunch. Soon the day was over and Rocky was going to go home but Carter convinced her to stay with him. His driver drove them to a store and she picked out an outfit for tomorrow's work day. Finally they drove home and arrived at the house. The yard was littered with magazines and lawn workers attempting to sweep them up. Carter sent the workers home earlier and walked inside the house. He stood in the doorway shocked at what he saw. Everything was on the ground or broken. On the walls it was signed in spray paint, I will find you Rocky
-Derrik. Carter called the police and maids and while they cleaned up he helped Rocky calm down. When everything was cleaned up him and Rocky laid down and drifted off to sleep.
