Chapter 27

A boy in all blue walked towards her and handed Athena's new best friend's leash over to Rocky. She smiled and walked towards her car. She tapped the seat and Athena hopped in the seat with the new dog sitting beside her. She smiled as she noticed Athena instantly took a liking to him. She licked his fur and he licked her back. As she drove towards pet smart she thought of cool names for him. The lightbulb in her head lit up as she thought the name Bear. It suited him perfectly. He looked exactly like a bear. She petted his soft fur and patted Athena on the head. She tied his leash to Athena's and walked inside the sliding doors slamming behind her. She decided since everything for Athena for pink everything for him had to be blue. She bought a blue leash,a blue collar,

a blue dog bed, a blue kennel,

blue dog bowls, and a cool dog house she was going to paint blue.

She put all the stuff in her car and called Ranae.
"Hello?"
"Hey guess what?"
"What?"
"I got a new dog."
"Omg what kind?"
"A Newfoundland I named him bear."
"Perfect name. Mind if I come over tonight?"
"Yea come over at 7."
"Ok bye."
Rocky ended the call and drove towards her house. She set the stuff down and let bear explore the new environment. She giggled when he and Athena played tug of war. Athena was so happy with him and she was happy for Athena. She slid off her shoes and jacket and sat in front of the fire. She was enjoying the serenity when bear came running around the corner. His nail clicked loudly against the floor and Athena ran behind him.
"Athena!" Rocky said calling Athena over. Athena sat down and bear sat next to her. Rocky patted him and laid down on the couch with Athena on one of her legs asleep and bear on the other. Moments later she heard a knock at the door. The dogs ran towards it barking loudly. She opened the door and saw a snow covered Ranae. Smiling she pulled her inside the warm house and closed the door behind her.
"Wow what a huge house! Is this the man of the hour?" Ranae said looking around before pointing to bear. Rocky nodded and helped her take her jacket off.
"Want me to give you a tour?"
"Of Course."
Rocky led her into the kitchen and she looked at everything excitement filling her eyes.
"I don't have any food that isn't safe for dogs so don't ask for gluten filled, or sugar filled products. Moving on."
She lead her into the living room and touched her blanket, it lit up and they both laughed. She walked towards the back door and showed Renae her back yard. 2 dogs houses were sat next to each other in the left corner. Walking up the stairs she called to Renae and Ranae followed behind her. She pointed to a well lit room and walked inside. Renae was surprised to find all kinds of dog stuff : dog bowls,harnesses,leashes,collars, treats,food, beds, shoes,outfits, everything dog.
"This my dog room." She walked out and went inside the door left of the dog room. Inside was a room decorated in all kinds of posters and photos. The bed was all black with a canopy and sat in a dark corner.
"This is my room."
Rocky walked out and walked to a room directly in front of hers. It was 2 bathrooms,doors and walls separating them. She walked out and walked down the hall into a warm area. A hot tub was in the middle of the room with a water proof mattress floating in the middle of it. Ranae got a phone call and held the phone close to her ear. Rocky could hear some one yelling and she looked at Ranae,confused. Ranae hung up the phone and walked towards Rocky.
"My boyfriend just called. I have to go home."
Ranae ran down the stairs and out the door before Rocky could say a word.
Hey sorry for the terrible chapter I was in a rush. I promise you I will make next chapter the best.I am sad to say I'm ending this book at chapter 35. I have been working so hard to keep you guys happy and I hope you enjoy the rest of my story. I'm going to stay up late tonight and try to finish it. Comment if you think Carter and Rocky should get back together.
