Rocky woke up to the sun shining right in her face. She looked around and saw hat she was in the front seat of her car. She put her foot on the gas and drove home. She took a shower and got dressed. She put on a white cardigan,jeans, and black combat heels. She put Athena in a similar outfit and made herself coffee. Rocky looked in mirror and realized how independent she was.
"I'm proud of myself." She said to Athena before walking outside. She felt the cold air hit her face and she realized the temperature had dropped. She smiled at the thought of going target shopping. She started her car and called Ranae.
"Hello?"
"Yes hi. Can you fill out the paper work on my desk? Also I won't be coming into work until 2. I will leave right after my meeting,but I'll give you some work before I leave. You can get off at 5 if you finish early."
"Yes ma'am."
Rocky ended the call and headed to target. She turned off the car and read the texts from Carter.

She laughed and replied
Do what? Become independent? You kicked me out! I have every right to move on and that's what I'm doing! Thanks for ''loving me" but I don't need you to. Just move on!
She put her phone in the glove box and jumped out. She put Athena in the buggy and started shopping. She got some big coats for Athena and a north face jacket with 3 layers for her. She went over to the candy aisle and got some chocolate,some sugar cookie mix, and some gum. She walked around looking for the dog treats. She couldn't find any so she decided to make some. She got there ingredients and went to the clearance rack. She found a really cute flowy skirt and some brown leather boots. She bought a new bed for Athena seeing as she didn't like the one she had. This dog bed had a layer of memory foam so she thought Athena would like it more. She got a big flowery rug to put into Athena's dog house when she finally used it. She was going to pay for the stuff when she saw some really cool bean bags. She bought all 4 of them.
