Athena jumped on Rocky and she groaned rubbing her eyes. Athena barked at the door and Rocky walked towards it. "What is it?" She said to Athena as she opened the door. Athena pushed past her and barked at the front door. The cold air hit her face when she opened it. Athena ran to play in the snow. Rocky smiled as she watched Athena bark at the snow falling. She whistled and Athena ran towards her. She closed the door behind them and felt the warm air snuggle her skin. She took a shower and got dressed putting on some jeans, a black shirt, her black north face jacket, and some black north face boots.

She dressed Athena in a black winter coat and some black rain boots. She pulled the door shut and stomped in the snow towards her car. She closed the door and sat in her car waiting for it warm up. She put her hands against the warm vent and shivered. She looked down at her phone and saw 3 messages from Carter. Can we just talk? Be friends maybe? Did you get the teddy bear I sent you? She pulled out of park and drove to her work. When she finally arrived she sat deciding whether or not she should answer Carter. She sent the message and threw her phone in her pocket. Meet me at Starbucks at 12 She headed inside and sat for a second in her chair relieved to feel the warm air. She took off Athena's leash and put the dog bed beside her. She had decided that she was going to bring the new bed to her work so Athena could lay down when she was working, she was going to need to buy a new bed but pushed that thought out of her mind as she filled out the paper work. Ranae never came so she sat in silence the only sound was her pen writing. The clock dinged as it turned 12 and she put her coat on and headed out the door. She turned around realizing she has left Athena. She put Athena on her leash and shoved her hands in her pocket as she walked out the front door towards Starbucks. She ordered a salted caramel cake pop,a ham and Swiss panini, a grilled cheese, and a caffè mocha. She paid for her items and sat down waiting for her food.
