Monica stood up and motioned for Cole and Elena to do the same. "There's no time to wait! Let's go find Evelyn!" she exclaimed. Cole frowned but stood up too, "Won't he get caught? Guards will surely be looking for him, he's already said that he gave away his location and we've already told the guards some of his physical features." he said. Elena stood next to him, "I can just use my disguising spell again, but that means he'll only have twenty four hours to look for her before he's revealed." she noted. Everyone nodded in understanding then Elena walked over to Karzen.

He flinched a little, "Sorry, nobody's gotten this close to me in a while...well unless they wanted to fight." He chuckled a bit but then allowed Elena to perform her spell. Karzen frowned once it was over, "What's wrong?" Elena asked. "I look like an idiot." he flatly responded.  "R-Really?! Sorry, I-I don't really know h-how to control it and-" Elena stuttered. Cole stopped her, "It's okay Elena, he doesn't have to look good to see Evelyn, he just has to go unnoticed." he gave her a warm smile and she quickly smiled back.

"Well, one good thing about this is that you fixed my eye...somehow..." Karzen remarked. Elena perked up, "MAGIC!" she chirped, "That's how!" Karzen grinned, "Yeah, yeah. You sure are a weird mage..." "What's that supposed to mean?" Monica questioned. "Well, y'know, mages are normally super calm and majestic. She's like a weird nerdy teenager, what are those things called...fangirls?" Karzen replied. "I am NOT  a fangirl! I'M MAGICAL!" Elena shouted. Cole grabbed her arm and dragged her outside, "I think it's time for us all to leave..." he stated.

Everybody soon followed and they started their hunt. "I found her in the forest behind Azmend's house after I escaped, maybe she's still there?" Elena noted. "Wait...AZMEND KIDNAPPED YOU?!" Karzen shouted. "Uh...yeah? That's kind of old news though..." Elena muttered. "Oh man...where did I go wrong? That kid is...ugh...," Karzen complained, "I am so sorry."

They arrived at the forest pretty quickly. Monica sighed, "Welp, we're here...what if she's not in there?" Cole replied, "For now it's our best bet." They walked in and hoped for the best. "Karzen, I don't think any guards will be in here. I can lift the spell if you want." Elena mentioned. Karzen nodded  and in a few moments was back to his normal self. They had been walking for at least an hour and a half before Karzen was knocked down.

"Wh-What just hit me? Why is i-it hugging me?!" he managed to say. "I missed you so much! I can't believe you're okay! I'm so sorry I-" Evelyn then noticed she was on top of him and jumped off. "You're not stuttering, are you okay?" Elena asked Evelyn. Karzen got up and Evelyn replied, "I-I don't really know...when I was younger I didn't stutter. Maybe I'm just excited?"

Karzen hugged her, "I'm...so sorry." he said, Evelyn hugged back. Karzen told Evelyn the whole story about why he did what he did, they both couldn't stop apologizing. Evelyn burst into tears and bear-hugged him again, Karzen just laughed and hugged back. Cole frowned, "What's wrong Cole?" Elena asked. "I-I'm sorry Master...I just understood...this man will die soon." he solemnly stated. Elena sighed, "You haven't called me 'Master' in forever, please call me Elena." Cole nodded, "Do you remember how Karzen was talking about the Dragon King? Or the time you were joking about me being royalty?" Cole shakily said. "Yeah...kind of..." Elena responded.

Cole turned to her, "I'm the Dragon Prince, I was sent to Earth with Claire and Bernard so that I would survive the Dragon Revolution. I needed to survive so that an heir would still be there for the Dragons...that's why I haven't been banished or kept out of the palace." he continued. "W-What?! That's impossible, you said it was only because you belonged to me!" Elena was stunned. Cole chuckled, "I really didn't want you to know, I wanted to be normal. Dragons aren't allowed to even have owners anymore. We're seen as a threat and that's why Azmend and Karzen don't have owners. I...hope you don't view me differently because of this...I just don't know what I'll do once they find me. Will I have to rule over the dragons? I'll be separated from you...you're my best friend." he continued.

"Why didn't you tell me? Of course I won't think of you differently, you're my first  and best friend." Elena smiled weakly, "Will they really make you rule over the dragons?" He smiled weakly back, "Someday I'll have to leave you. I shouldn't be sad, humans die very quickly anyways..." A few tears fell from Elena's eyes, "I-I...never really thought...about that."

Evelyn clung to Karzen and couldn't stop crying, "Please tell the guards! You were forced to! It's not your fault!" Karzen rocked her back and forth, "It's too late, I'm a criminal. It's okay though. I've waited for so long just to see you again...this makes me finally happy. I'll die living a happy life..." Monica sighed, "We should probably go now." Elena wiped away her tears and everyone walked to the palace.

Nobody was sure about what was going to happen, once they stepped foot in the palace guards swarmed around them. Evelyn started to cry again and held Karzen's hand. He walked to the guards, "I killed Bernard Andersen." as soon as those words escaped him the guards lunged at him and separated him from the rest of the group. Evelyn fell to her knees and sobbed her heart out. Everyone else just stared as the innocent man was ripped away from them, mistaken for a ruthless criminal.
