She wanted to know what her dad would do, would he give up? Would he just stay because that's what others wanted or would he go home? What would her mom do? She didn't know her...who knows what she would do. Elena ran out of the palace a failure, somebody was going to die because of her. Elena ran through the streets, to be honest she didn't really remember the way back to Azmend's home. She stopped and gazed up at the sky, it was already turning a dark shade of purple.
Elena knew the way back to the cottage though, what if she just went back home right now? She memorized the spell after all. Elena remembered how Azmend wanted to ride her around one last time, she'd have to stay a little longer. Elena huffed and continued her journey, she ran down streets and roads until she ended up by the forest.
She was certainly lost, and had nowhere to go. Elena just wanted everyone to be happy. She rubbed at her eyes and made a decision. It was time to go home.

Azmend was so scared he thought he might have a heart attack. It wasn't long before his past kingdom came into view. He spiraled up to the entrance and easily passed the security.
He checked for the castle and made his way there, he took a deep breath and braced himself. The doors flung open and revealed many workers tidying the palace up. "I'm here to see Prince Cole," Azmend announced. Maids glared at him and a butler ignored his presence entirely. A young maid looked up at him, "Cole? Do you mean Prince Abdjorn?"
"Uh...yes. His master wanted to say goodbye before she left." Azmend answered. "Master?! You're a funny guy! Princes don't have masters!" she laughed. "This one does. Just let me talk to him, he'll understand." Azmend towered over the young dragon so it wasn't hard to persuade her. "O-Of course..." she showed him a tall doorway. "Just beyond these doors, sir." Azmend gave his thanks and entered the room. So far this was way too easy.
"Cole? Are you here?" Azmend asked. Cole made his way into Azmend's view, he had certainly grown since they'd last met. "What are you doing here?" Cole spat his words like poison. "Elena's...," Azmend took a breath, "Elena's leaving Areagore." Cole had a look of shock and regret, "Why did you tell me that? She's...She's just a human." Azmend looked at Cole, "This isn't where she belongs, she came here with her dad and a dragon. Now she's leaving with nothing. All this place gave her was sadness." Cole looked away, "Of course I don't want the throne, she was a great master. I just had no idea she would really leave so soon. I wanted to at least say goodbye."
Azmend could tell Cole was young and unstable, "I should be going now." "Why did you even know?! You helped kill her dad, you kidnapped her, you made her miserable! Why did you know?! I should've been there for her, I'm the one that's closest to her!" Cole shouted. Azmend gave him a sorrowful look, "At least I owned up to it, at least I said sorry, at least I was there for her. You ran away from her! You left her alone and afraid! Do you even know how long she searched for you, how worried she was?"
"You need to leave." Cole stiffened.

Monica called everyone she knew,
"Aaron? Your Majesty? Have you seen Elena anywhere? I'm so worried about her!"
"She just left the palace a moment ago in tears."
"Uh...what direction did she go? I might be able to catch her!"
"I saw her go left and into the forest! I also noticed she looked beautiful in a new dress!"
"Shut up lover boy! I'll call Evelyn, she might've seen her in the forest!"
"H-Hello? M-M-Monica?! E-E-E-El-Elena wh-what?! I'll t-tr-try to f-fin-find her!!"
"Thank you so much, I just hope she's alright."
"I'll send some guards to the forest too! I hope she hasn't gotten dirty out there, I loved how her hair looked today!!"
"LOVER BOY SHUT UP!"
