Elena was sitting in the back of the bus and was staring out her window. They were floating high above the clouds and it was already dark enough where you could see the stars. She gave out a content sigh and admired the beautiful scenery that lay before her. Then her peaceful moment came to an end when she heard an all too familiar sound-her dad's snoring. If he was sleeping then who was driving!?

Elena ran up the aisle and shook her father's shoulders violently. When none of this worked she pulled out her grandma's diary, she quickly flipped through the pages until she landed on a satisfying spell. As she was chanting the bus began to descend through the sky. "H-hertio j-jarum hocina!" she screamed. The bus jerked still in the sky and Elena was knocked onto the floor. The bus was so big and Elena wasn't very powerful so you can imagine why that spell drained her of her energy. Her dad drowsily yawned and stretched his arms then spotted Elena, "Mornin' hun."

Elena rubbed her head where she had hit it, "Where are we even going, dad?" She looked over her shoulder to see a sleeping Cole, why isn't he a dragon?! she  thought. "Glad you asked, we're going  home Lena!" he said it so casually but his face seemed somewhat sad. She sat by her dragon and turned him back to a dragon and held him in her arms before letting out a yawn. Cole was now the size of a small dog  and his horns were growing too. Elena wanted to further question what her dad meant by "home" but she was too tired and quickly fell asleep.  When she woke up she realized that they were in a grassy field."Where are we?!" Elena bolted upwards and noticed Cole sitting next to her still in his cute dragon form. "Home, duh!" Elena's dad shuffled out of the driver's seat and walked out of the bus. Elena grabbed Cole and chased after him. "Is this where you and Grandma lived before you left?" she was pointing to a run-down cottage. Her dad only gave a slight nod before Elena dropped Cole and ran towards it. Cole quickly woke up and chased after her, it felt like a fairytale! The green grass and the crisp fresh air, before Elena knew it she was rolling in the grass! "Dad, this is so much fun! Check this out I'm gonna do a cartwheel!" Her dad let out a sigh and mumbled something that sounded like, "I wish you could've grown up here..."

Everyone had settled in the cottage and now they were making dinner. "Hey Elena, what do you want for dinner?" "Oh, umm...how about-" "PASTA!!!!" Elena flung her head around to see a small girl with blue hair and violet/red eyes, "What the what?!DAD, STRANGER DANGER! I REPEAT STRANGER DANGER!"Elena screamed. "Dang it Monica!" her dad exclaimed, "This is not your house!" he was shoving her out the door when she teleported next to Elena. "Who's this? Is it one of your human friends Bernard? Or another wife? Your last wife died, right?" by now Elena's dad was enraged. "You don't have the right to speak about my wife! She died so that you and all of Areagore could LIVE IN PEACE!" he screamed. "Sh-she..." he couldn't find any more words and just ran to Elena and hugged her, "Dang Monica..." he muttered. "Come on, Bernard you're such a lame-o! So is this your new wife or what?" "No, it's my daughter, Elena."Just then Cole came down the stairs holding a fire hydrant and he had a panicked expression, "I HEARD STRANGER DANGER!"

Elena looked up to her dad, "Does this mean no pasta?"
