After all of that happened the trio just walked in whatever direction Elena's dad was going in, the other two didn't know anything about this new world. Her dad seemed pretty bummed about his outburst but he kept silent. They then arrived at a tall crooked building that appeared to be defying the laws of physics and gravity itself. Right before Elena was going to admire the magical building Adbjorn put his head in his hands. "A-are you okay?!" Elena came rushing to his side, "Y-yeah I'm-" He then evaporated into a puff of blue and in Elena's hand was her blue dragon-asleep.
"Dad, is he...okay?" Elena scanned his body for any injuries. "He's just worn out. I'm surprised that he didn't pass out earlier, he's pretty strong. He's been working really hard to keep his human form," Elena was shocked, to be honest she started to forget that he wasn't human in the first place. The blue dragon let out a yawn that sent out little red flames. Then as if a voice in her head was telling her to she said, "Coal...C-Cole?" Her dad stared, "Uh...what?" Now Elena was skipping into the building, "That's what I'll name him!" she looked back at her friend once they reached the first room, "I'll name you Cole!" All of the staff stared at her in confusion. Elena didn't realize that she just yelled that, "S-sorry..."
Elena then figured out that the building they were in was a hotel. They were now in their room getting ready for bed. "Hey dad? We don't have any pajamas and Cole's still out cold," she walked over to her dad's bed. "Honey, you're magical! You can't complain anymore, you can do literally anything!" He rolled over to further bury himself into his pillow. "Okay..." Elena mumbled, she had to try and remember the spell she had learned from her grandma's book. "Sontius C-carpian Rentro!" her clothes whirled around and turned themselves into a cream nightgown rimmed with white lace. Elena dove into her bed and quickly fell asleep.
The next morning Cole was awake but he was still a dragon. When Elena woke up she found Cole laying on top of the alarm clock that was on her nightstand. "Morning Cole!" she lifted him up and carried him over to the small kitchen. Elena could hear her father's snoring echoing through the small room, "So that's what woke me up..." she then noticed Cole struggling and wiggling around. "What's wrong buddy?" now that he was so small he felt like more of a pet than a friend, that's probably why she called him 'buddy'. He then was enveloped into yet another blue explosion-but this time something was off. His deep blue eyes were now red and he still had his horns. "What's wrong Elena? You don't look so good!" he came closer but she took a hesitant step back-she didn't want to be rude but he was scary! "Y-you don't uh...look...normal. I don't think you slept long enough," Elena patted his horns to help prove her point. "Dang...I tried really hard to look human for you too..." he let out a defeated sigh. "F-for me?" Elena didn't understand, "When I look human we can talk and hang out together! You seemed like you were having fun so I..uh..guess I pushed myself too hard," he was just rubbing his eyes and stifling a yawn after he said that. "Too...many...words,"he quickly settled himself on Elena's shoulder and passed out. "Nope! I am NOT having you sleep on me!" she whisper/shouted and shoved her friend onto her bed. "Good night Cole, please don't wake up!"she turned around to get some breakfast but ran into her dad. "He doesn't get it, he just wants to see his owner happy. Dragons would die if it made their owners happy-they don't know their limits..." he just gazed down at Cole sadly. "Sorry. That sounded really depressing, do you want some magic pancakes?" his personality took a complete u-turn! "What makes them magic?" Elena knew the answer, he would make them with his wand and without any actual ingredients or materials right? "SPRINKLES!" okay, that was definitely not the answer she was expecting.
