They got their food and Elena politely thanked the boy. "Hm..." Azmend poked his food. "What's wrong?" Elena asked. "You don't have any money do you?" Azmend wondered. She gasped, "You're right! Oh I'm so sorry, you'll have to pay for this. I can give my food back I'm sure! You can get a refund!" He wolfed his food down, "Elena I was going to do that anyways. It's polite." She chuckled, how he ate his food certainly wasn't polite!

"Do you think Cole's come back yet? Maybe he'll say goodbye to Monica for me." Elena murmured. "Agh, knowing that guy he's probably being pampered in the palace. To be honest he's probably already forgotten about us. I doubt the dragons will let him leave again." Azmend crushed her little dream. Elena kept thinking of how Cole was doing but couldn't imagine what he was going through.

She nibbled at her muffin, "Can you see him for me? I can't go to the Dragon Kingdom but it would mean the world to me if you told him I was leaving." she stated. Azmend was caught off guard, he could but he definitely didn't want to! "I...sure." he sighed, he couldn't say no to her, he owed her. "Thank you so much! I'm glad he'll know." she chirped.

Apparently Azmend has a weakness: cuteness. He lay his head against his hand, how pitiful. "No problem. That guy doesn't get many visitors I'm sure." he concluded. "Yep! What a relief, I think you'll do great." she smiled. "Hey Azmend? What flavor did you get?" Elena questioned. "Uh...," he analyzed the biscuit, "Strawberry?"

"Aw cool, I love strawberry. My dad loved strawberries too. He once tried to name my stuffed animal Strawberry, he's such a dork." she giggled. "Stuffed animal?"Azmend inquired. She glanced at him, "It was a plush-dog-thing. Stuffed animals are just plush creatures and things. They're normally filled with cotton and soft stuff!" Elena seemed pretty excited.

He nodded in understanding and finished his food. "Oh you got coffee too?" Elena noticed his small mug. "Yeah, they have really good uh...what did you say? Kaf...Cough-E here." he mimicked her. "Do they call it something different here? You can tell me, I'd like to learn." she calmly asked. Azmend sipped his drink, "It's called Ignis, it's made up in volcanoes so it's extremely hot at first. It takes weeks for it to cool down."

Elena beamed, "That's so cool! Why didn't Cole tell me about that? I feel like Monica should love it, she just seems like that type of person to me." she giggled. "You're a lot happier than I remember." Azmend mentioned. She shrugged, "Just a lot less stressed I suppose." He smiled, "That's good, you've been through a lot."

"You know it! I felt terrible when Cole left but when you showed me he was safe I just felt amazing! I'm positive my dad would agree. He was always happy." Elena noted. They finished their meals and payed the two boys at the front desk. The younger boy thanked them, "Thanks ya' dinguses. Seriously though next time talk a bit quieter alrighty?"

The older boy stopped him, "Alfie! Don't judge the customers!" Azmend just passed his money over and left the boys behind. Elena bolted after him, "Thank you!" she called back to the duo. "Your welcome!" the older one answered. Elena caught up to Azmend, "Thank you for the food, that was great." He replied, "If you had money I'm sure you'd do the same."

"Is Cole really the Dragon King? He seems a little...young." Elena struggled to see her best friend as the ruler of an entire kingdom. "Yep, his parents sent him to Earth during the war so that they wouldn't give the crown to another family if he died." Azmend responded. "Yeah. He told me just before he ran away. He said that dragons only hurt and destroy. He didn't want to hurt me but I don't think he's helping by running off." she complained.

Azmend sighed, "We'll get him back for you. I'll tell him where you are, I'm sure once he knows you're leaving he'll say goodbye." She gasped, "Really? You said earlier that he forgot about us! I hope he'll see me again, I just want to set things straight." He stopped, "Elena, why do you want to leave?" "Huh? Oh, I don't belong here. I'm just a human in a world full of war and mystical creatures. I just can't compete y'know?" He started walking again, "Alright, thank you. I'll fly you home then I'll go visit Cole. When I'm gone I don't want you to leave the house okay?"
