I sat in the mall food court with an kind of annoyed looking Connor. I had begged and pleaded for him to come to the mall to help me pick out an outfit for tonight. He had said no. Until I promised to buy him whatever he wanted and something to eat later. I turned the tables and told him, "we are not eating until I find something to wear!" Which made him even more annoyed.
"Come on Connor!" I said and grabbed his hand, pulling him towards my favorite store.
All I got from him was an annoyed sigh. I don't know why guys hate going to the mall. This was literally my second home.
As we walked into the store I pointed to a chair, and Connor happily skipped over to it. I rolled my eyes. I scanned the racks carefully and picked up a few things. Within a matter of minutes I was on my way into the dressing room. Turns out most of the stuff I had on I didn't really like on me.
"Kiana, You haven't showed me anything, Does that mean we can leave?" Connor spoke from outside the dressing room.
"No. And I still have to try on one more thing." I sighed.
I shimmied on a white pair of skinny jeans, and slipped on a cute strapless black shirt. I looked at myself In the mirror. I smiled. This was perfect. Even though I usually didnt wear jeans when I preformed, I thought It was time for a change. I looked at myself one more time before taking off the outfit and putting on my regular clothes. As I walked out the dressing room, Connor raised an eyebrow. I just smiled and walked towards the counter to pay for the clothes. As we walked out the store, Connor tried to sneak a peek in my bags. I swatted his hand away. He gave a small grunt then smiled. We spent the rest of the day hanging in the food court and shopping.

I walked into the club, my black heels clicking each step. I took out my phone and looked at myself one more time in the phone reflection. My hair was straightened then pulled over my shoulder. I got a few nice glances from guys walking to and from the club. In the lobby I spotted Connor and Travis. They both had on matching black dress pants and white shirts. I walked over to them and gave them a huge smile.
"Hey guys." I smiled and they both had their mouths wide open.
I smiled. "You ready guys?!" I said excitingly putting my arms around both of their shoulders.
"Yeah!" Travis screamed.
Connor just gave a shy smile. Keeping my arms around their shoulders, we walked backstage. The band all greeted us with nods. After a few minutes of conversation, it was time to go on stage.
"Lets do this!" Travis jumped up and down, before going onto the stage first.
"You ready?" Connor smiled
"Totally." I smiled back and took a deep breath.
"Lets go." He grabbed my hand before giving it a light squeeze, and then went onto the stage.
And if I didn't know any better, I was pretty sure that I was blushing.
